Came in, place wasn't busy. But the person that took my order didn't put in what I had requested. "An 18" Italian sausage pepperoni pizza." 3 times I had said so, I admit I was a little tired (after just getting off of nightshifts going to dayshifts) When I had ordered so I didn't pay attention to what was on screen and blindly paid relying on the integrity of the person taking my order. Needless to say I recieved a single slice of greasy pepperoni and sliced Italian sausage pizza. I admit the slice of pizza was good. But my reccomendation to others is to Doordash this establishment. 2/10 would not reccomend having me order your pizza.
Wow this is hands down amazing pizza!! What a true New York college town pizza place should be!! Definitely a must hit visiting Eugene

Fist time going there kind of expensive but they have huge slices.Their tomato sauce didn't really have flavor the dough was fresh. took a while to get our pizza.
Staff didn't know the daily special when I ordered garlic knots. Six was one price but when a buck more was 12. The slices were great, maybe a drop too much cheese but for 3 buck the size was a good portion. And eat it all the way to the last crumb.
I've been going to sys since I was a kid. They have some of the best local pizza. Place hasn't changed a bit since my childhood, love it ?. If you're new to sys and ur a fan of garlic you have to get their garlic rolls!
Sy's delivers on the NY pizza experience. Highly recommend trying it out.

Presently I live in a good pizza deprived area. My son brought me a slice while I was visiting Eugene, and I absolutely inhaled it! Crust was great-soft with crisp bottom, not too thin, not too thick. The sauce was extraordinary -mild, a bit sweet and the amount was perfect. I rarely eat a whole slice that size and never eat the crust, but I polished it off in record time. I’ll definitely make another visit before I leave….maybe several??
