The food was pretty good when my roommates and I visited. The pricing was way too much. For just mine alone was like 50 bucks for the champagne and for my New York Strip steak. I personally thought it could've been better. Quality wasn't the greatest. Portions was pathetic for what I paid for. We could've went to like Texas Roadhouse or somewhere else and wouldn't have paid like 200 dollars for what we got. When my mom and I would go to Texas Roadhouse in Iowa us two only would wound up spending 50 bucks at least. We would've paid like half at most. Quite ridiculous. This restaurant was pretty much only made for higher class citizens I felt. It was a very nice view of the river but wasn't worth the price we paid. May come here again if it's for a celebration or a big event..
Best BLT ever...lots of excellent bacon...took half home for lunch tomorrow ...sat outside on patio watching boaters
I knew I HAD to come and try these cinnamon roll pancakes. I used to get cinnastack pancakes from ihop and I was obsessed with them til they discontinued it. But these are wayyy better! I'll definitely be back when I'm having a sweet toothAlso the entire staff is super nice and our waitress Annessa was very energetic and sweet like my pancakes (:
The main restaurant was closed for remodeling, so Sweetwaters was the only choice to eat at the Hotel. The food was fair, the service was really good, and the view is great.
Service was good, but the food left a lot to be desired. My moms burger was WAY over cooked, along with the other burgers ordered in our party. My salad was simple and mediocre at best. The flavored iced tea tasted like it was just flavoring. Its sad, this place used to be quite good and unfortunately its one of few places in town with a river view. But the view doesn't out way the bad food.
Yummy food, super expensive though. Our waitress I think totally forgot about us.. she sat us alone in a table at the bottom stars and came to us like twice the whole time... We had to flag down other people at the bar to help us
Excellent atmosphere, service and food. Terrific views of the river. Nearly five stars. Recommended if you want a nice dinner in a comfortable, warm environment.
Beutiful views of the river with a good atmosphere. The tomato soup and the mushroom ravioli with butternut squash sauce were excellent. Very peaceful lunch.
meh.. the table was really short making it awkward to eat. Had the valentines prime rib dinner... food was mostly cold... The mashed postatoes were AMAZING!! Running the electric sweeper at 8:50 wasn't overly romantic but the place wasn't busy so I understand...
Kind staff, upscale ambience, spectacular view.Unimpressive ingredients—produce does not seem to be fresh/seasonal/local, and the maple syrup tastes like sugar syrup.
