Excellent. Might be the best I've ever had, and reasonable pricing. Hans loved it. When he photographs something, it means the presentation is appropriate, ??♂️ and that he will attempt to reproduce at home, and surprise me. ?He knows his food. Last photo depicts Hans all out of the Wasabi delivery device, and trying some, alone...???
I've only done taken out here so have no idea what eating in is like but this place has definitely turned into my go to for sushi! consistently good! my husband and kids like their bento too.
Boss lady is sweet and the food is phenomenal. Maybe a little too good? Dine in, carry out; we’ve done both and it’s all good. Reminds us that we don’t get enough Japanese food in our lives ❤️
Sushi Ya is my highest recommended Sushi restaurant. Downtown Eugene is lucky to have this cozy restaurant. Fresh made to order.The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Delicious sushi, I ordered the Spider roll and the Fire Show! We also had the potstickers, and miso soup! The ambiance was warm and inviting! I'd definitely be going back again!
Merry a friend for lunch. The service was excellent and our server was great. The food was very good. It wasn't a cheap lunch but it's not totally unaffordable either.
Flavorless blend poorly made rorly made rolls made my stomach feel gross. Bad tempura. Slow inattentive wait staff. Had to get our own menus after being ignored for over 5 Mins after being seated.
Nice clean place. Food presentation was beautiful. Food tasted great and was flavorful.
Our server was horrible. When asked about gluten free options, she said no, we don’t have any. Everything has gluten. Didn’t even try to find another option (which I layer did). She brought the wrong rolls even after we corrected her when she read the order back, then argued with me when I told her we didn’t order that and she never removed them from our bill. Never brought out my tea and never came back to check on us. The spicy tuna was like puréed mush wrapped up in rice that fell apart upon picking it up. I’ll never go back and highly recommend no one else going back, either.
