We got two sushi rolls that were mostly rice. I ordered osam bulgogi and was informed that they were out of pork. I told them to just give me the burning chicken with cheese instead and was told that they were out of cheese. I said okay, forget the cheese part and just give me the burning chicken. However, I did not receive burning chicken, I was brought "osam bulgogi" with chicken instead of pork. This communication mix-up would have been okay, if it actually tasted like a bulgogi. There was no gochujang and no gochukaru involved in my "osam bulgogi". It was more of a teriyaki chicken with rubbery squid. To make matters worse, the kimchi that came with was room temperature. This experience was deceptive and gross.

We enjoyed our experience. It can be such a gamble to find a good place to eat anymore. We are happy we chose to eat here & will be back with family.Every customer was greeted kindly upon entering. Both employees on the floor checked on us in passing. Very kind. Not pushy or bothered in tone. Comfortable to talk to.Good prices. Nice portions.Nice cocktail! Not over poured but also not drowned down with juice.Potstickers cooked perfectly. Not burnt or soggy. Perfectly light & crunchy. Tasty filling. My fiance had the Ton Katsu ramen.I had the Ondeng Udon. Both fully layered with great flavor. We appreciate you being open.Thank you for a positive experience.

The sushi really is just as good as anywhere else in town. Being that it's not Japanese run some of the flavors are not authentically Japanese hence the name Sushi Seoul I guess. They have potstickers that are deep fried I asked if they could possibly do them pan fried. They brought them to me deep fried and I said oh you couldn't do them pan fried and the response was that they could have steamed them or deep-fried them but they never did ask me which way I preferred. I do not like deep fried pot stickers. I would have either said forget it or I would have gotten them steamed. Also not sure why they serve it with what appears to be a tempura sauce. Potsticker should be served with a combination of soy sauce, chili oil, and rice wine vinegar. The karaage they should just call Korean fried Chicken because it is not karaage at all. The kimchi is very good. I think it would be best to do Korean appetizers, Chinese appetizers, Japanese appetizers, and do each one is authentically as possible instead of sort of calling them by the Japanese name and doing them wrong. I'm all for fusion of different cultures in the food but if you call it by the original name then it should be done the way it should be done. If you're going to do it differently then make up a new name for it. I'm really conflicted on the place in some ways. I just think the sushi is just as good as anywhere else. The rest of it I'm up in the air about.

Our server was good natured and worked with our questions and decision paralysis. My sushi roll was delicious, but the pieces were cut too big to comfortably eat. However, I feel like the amount of roll and taste were worth the price. I'll try asking them to cut it smaller next time and see what happens. The edemame had a PILE of salt on it, which was too much! The calamari serving was generous and tender.

Pay $13.50 for leftover sushi??? I got the dragon roll, a roll I get everywhere, a hot roll with shrimp tempura. They don’t tempura the shrimp fresh so its cold. Practically straight out the fridge! Server is nice, but did not check on us at all, like pulling teeth to get her to come over. They forgot soup twice. Just overall unsatisfied, won’t return.

We came in for lunch right when they opened on Sunday. Had quick service, friendly staff, and AMAZING chicken katsu and yakisoba noodles. Oh my gosh. I can't recommend the chicken katsu entree more, it was tender and juicy and had just the right amount of sauce. I went with my boyfriend and he's a pretty picky eater, but he LOVED the chicken katsu.

Worst sushi place in Eugene. Terrible customer service. Lady up front said they did fine in them didn’t let us eat. We got there at 5:45 and called before hand to make sure they did dine in. They said yes and that they where open tell 11. When we got there 3 mins after calling they said they couldn’t serve us.

Japchae is my favorite here at Sushi Seoul! I can eat this all day!! ?

Got the jampong and rappoki, both delicious! So happy to have found a place in downtown Eugene to get my Korean fix!

Food was good. Restaurant was clean. Staff was excellent. Prices were okay. 14 dollar soup was only something I'd be willing to do occasionally.
