The teriyaki chicken bowls at Sushi Island are the best you can get anywhere in town. My husband likes the Angry Dragon and Tuna Lovers rolls. Recently, the restaurant opened back up for dine in, which is totally cool. They have a conveyor belt that has different dishes on it that you can grab as they go by, and the prices are pretty good!

Food was good but not very warm. Also was no mention on the website that indoor dining was closed takeout or delivered only.
COVID update: The restaurant on 11th only has two chefs on staff last I heard who are working whole days 6-7 days a week with few breaks. If the restaurant is randomly closed it’s because they literally can’t open if they don’t have enough staff.I think the service is still great (and affordable) but I’d recommend calling ahead for to-go because you might be waiting 10-30 mins depending on volume you order.I’ve been going to Sushi Island for a few years now and I appreciate that it’s affordable, has good quality ingredients, and is hygienic.I can get STUFFED on $15 bucks of sushi, and the bento boxes are decent (COVID) and even more so when the belt is running.In non-COVID times, the conveyor belt and happy hour are clutch, pretty fresh and surprisingly varied. Big fan!
I had never eaten here before so walking in was disappointing, it was to-go only. I ordered my meal and then my grandson's meal. They gave us a beeper and we took off for Fred Meyers to get something to drink. Beeper went off, picked up our food and as I looked in the bag there was only one container of food....huh......they put both meals in the one container! I dropped off grandson to his mom. I let him have both meals as I didn't have an extra container to separate the meals. I did taste my Sushi, it was very good! I would recommend Sushi Island to anyone who asks.Great prices and great food...
Garbage. Absolute trash. These people pretty much robed me, they messed up everything on my $50 order, everything is extremely bland and the food was gross so I threw it all away after a few bites

Want dry af chicken and half put together sushi go here, for me though Im never coming back ? wouldnt be surprised if they ran out of business with this quality of food
server named alex will give you regular soda if you ask for diet. will then proceed to laugh about it on social media. people are diabetic and could die. if he’s doing it, i can only imagine what else happens here ?
it seems like alexander e. doesn't care too much about peoples lives or his job if he's willing to admit his extraordinary failure of serving people the wrong food especially when it can cause someone to die
