Old location near Jamba juice had different recipes for the soft shell crab and baked oysters. The food at this location was different and not good

Nice friendly staff and very welcoming atmosphere.

Just a thought. Yakisoba is simple. Noodles, some veggies, a protein. Pan fry in a small amount of oil with some soy and fresh ginger. Simple. Balanced.I got boiled noodles with a heavy coat of "Yoshidas Teriyaki" like sauce and a 1/2 of a split boneless chicken breast with a bowl size mound of room temperature rice. I guess the noodle dish needed a good starchy backup. The yakisoba portion was on the short side of average. OMG! Folks... it was Sooo bad!My dinner companion had Udon. It was also sub par. Bland broth and Udon noodles. That was it. Nothing else. Nada!Granted it said "Sushi" on the door. But, if you are going to offer an item, put some effort into it.I talked to the waiter. He did not offer to comp our unconsumed meals. Neither of us ate more than a few bites. I suggested that it would be nice not to have to pay for items we found inedible. He took off one of our items. The cheapest thing we ordered... tempura. It was the only redeeming part of our experience. The tempura was decent.I will not be back. Sorry Sushi Domo. I think you can do much better.

Great food, excellent service! We will be back.

Amazing food and a food selection, customer service is top notch and the prices are good.Definitely my favorite place in town!♡

I keep trying to order through delivery services and having my order cancelled 30-60 minutes after I place it, making finding another dinner option a race against time. The food is good, but not at all worth the hassle if you’re not going to sit down. And at this point I’m so frustrated I’ll never go in again. Sushi Island might make sushi that doesn’t even compare, but at least I know that when I place an order, I’ll get my meal.

Excellent food and friendly hospitable staff. They also make great mojitos!!

Some of the best sushi I've had in Eugene. The ginger was perfect. The rolls divine.

Used to love this place! Not sure what happened. Rice was overcooked, sushi was poorly made, fish tasted funky I couldn't even stomach it... the vegetable tempura was soggy. Not sure what went wrong. Hate to say it, but I won't be going back again.
