I used to come to Steel head Brewery pre pandemic. WOW has it ranked. We ordered The halibut fish and chips and a beverage. The fish was Wayover cooked and small portions. The drinks had too much ice. Really over priced. I probably won’t repeat. Too sad. Maybe there new management. ?
So when we went there was a show at the Hult Center and the place was packed! We still got seated right away, I don't know maybe we got lucky. But even the service was super fast! Appetizer came out in like 5 minutes and then as soon as we were done our food came out! Super impressed! Also the food was delicious! I had the Cajun Penne and it has so much flavor and a nice heat to it. My girlfriend had the Halibut and it was a nice big flaky piece. Plates are $15 and up so yes it's a little nicer place to eat.
We just had our staff Christmas party at Steelhead and I cannot say enough nice things about our experience! From scheduling our reservation to the moment we left everything was wonderful. The staff is so kind and our server went above and beyond. The room we had our event in was decorated so festive and beautiful, They really went the extra mile. Go here, you wont regret it!
Nice menu, not just your typical pub fare. Quick and attentive service. Even though they were fairly busy the food came quickly.
Really enjoyed lunch here. Nice atmosphere and huge portions. Will be back.
Stop by here for a beer before my train ride back to Portland, Good beer indeed ??
Hazy IPA was super yum and 7.7%, but moderately hopped. Tortilla chicken soup was epic and good prices. Love Steelhead, always consistent and good
Lunch after picking up family at Eugene airport. Nicest and heaviest chairs we've been in for a while. Seated promptly at the behemoths (you feel old and or important - or both - being seated in these chairs). Service was quick, nice, and efficient. Red Rhino ale very tasty. Meals - great reuben sandwich, great fries, small but good coleslaw; burger sans bun, cooked perfectly, great fries; tomato basil soup declared "excellent" by the resident vegetarian "nice pieces of basil" and a good salad with honey dijon dressing on side as requested. Everything was right, and done well. What a pleasant experience these days when restaurant dining can be hit or miss. Oh, and free and and easy parking just outside the back door.
We had Lunch at Steelhead Brewing. Beer highlights: Hopasaurus Rex was a very good double IPA that didn’t taste like 9.5 and the newly tapped Black Rye IPA, so good. As for food, the onion rings were crispy and delicious, the McKenzie dip was served with a very nice horseradish sauce, not too salty jus, pretty good slaw and decent fries. The service was excellent.
Clean Cool Place, very low key. Cool Big Chairs. Great Beer, Great food. ?
