Excellent cafe. By day it is a delightful cafe with excellent coffee, baked goods made in the shop, and a full menu. On Thursday through Saturday evenings it turns into fine dining, but completely unpretentious. Typically there are three specials offered each week, and you have to know to look at Instagram, which will show a photo of the chalk board menu. Excellent every time. Highly recommended.

Hands down the best dinner in Eugene. It’s an unassuming location, but trust me. They have rotating dinner specials, and so far we have had their salmon, tri tip steak, and artichoke and asparagus pasta. As we waited for our meal, we saw the chef hand rolling the pasta. It doesn’t get fresher than that folks! You can tell the chef is very thoughtful and meticulous.Service is slow, so don’t be in a rush when you go there, but if you like good food, trust me it is worth it.Desserts: You also MUST try the pistachio ice cream. It’s homemade and tastes like it’s more pistachio than ice cream. Their desserts in general are VERY good, particularly the caramel apple bundt cake and the rhubarb pie (with such a flaky perfect crust).I hesitated to write this review because I don’t want this place to get too popular and prevent me from getting a seat.

I had an espresso with caramel over ice and it was super good! Shots were pulled perfectly and didn't have a bitter aftertaste to run over the house-made caramel sauce. Beautiful place to stop in.

Surprisingly fancy food in a cafe setting. I had tea (it's Stash) and a delicious slice of banana bread.

I really wanted to love this place, but I just didn't. It had a cool local vibe, good looking baked goods selection and even a couple wines on tap. However, my decaf mocha tasted burned and like it was made with old beans. My husband's Americano tasted like watered down bland.... something.

The ambiance here is pretty bad, but the staff and food make up for it. Very reasonably priced and surprisingly gourmet food. This talented chef delivers gourmet meals on par (or better) than Eugene's most elite and expensive restaurants. There are usually only 3 meals to choose from, which rotates every week. Great idea for a small staff! Here's to hoping they find a better space and keep serving Eugene for years to come!

Delightful and delicious experience. We have had dinner and lunch at this cafe a few times now and always have been wowed by the dishes we have ordered. Coffee is tasty, too! I suggest reservations for dinner. The service is also wonderful. South Eugene is lucky to have Sieze the Cafe!

I can imagine the Café is great in the morning, but you NEED to try dinner here. Call and get a reservation because seating is limited and can go quick. I had a divine experience with his sourdough bread. My wife and I both got the fried chicken and mashed potatoes; so good. Perfect portion sizes and reasonable prices. Menu is always rotated with new entrees. Apple cider donuts were stellar as well. Chad was personable, joked with us and is most especially a very talented chef; support him.

What a great spot. Their biscuit sandwich is the best I have found in the PNW! Highly recommend this spot. Quality, cozy, and satisfying.

Great meal, prompt service.
