Visited for the first time today and had an amazing experience — I love tofu and eat it almost every day and have never had it like this. Service was also quick and friendly. Vegan paradise!
Screamin Jay's is screamin good and sure to satisfy! Hands down the best sandwiches in town and one of Eugene's best kept secrets. They have some very creative and original flavor combinations, and everything on the menu is available to be made vegan. The food is always consistent and I have been thoroughly satisfied with everything that I have eaten here. The portion sizes are good, prices are very reasonable, and the sandwiches are quite filling. Their sandwiches are so delightfully delicious that they keep me coming back for more and have made a regular customer of me. The vegan townes van zandtwich is by far my favorite sandwich that they offer. Service here is always fast and friendly too. All around top notch flavor, quality and service. This is one of the most deserving places that I have ever given a 5 star rating to. If you are looking for a meal that won't disappoint then make your way over to screamin Jay!
We had the shredded bbq, Cubano, potato salad and a chocolate chip cookie. All vegan and all amazing. The service was superb and we got our meal quickly. Looking forward to trying everything!! ❤ Thank you!

Listen. I am not going to tell you how to live your life, but Screamin’ Jay’s was absolutely one of the best sandwiches of my life.The meatball sub was tender and flavorful.I highly recommend the hibiscus cooler.Seriously. Wow.
This place is such a hidden gem. Everything is incredible and comforting. This potato salad is the potato salad dreams are made of!Everything is done with such care to make the perfect sandwich, every single bite is perfect. The bread? The textures? The spice ? The flavor combinations ?And everything I've had is vegan! I'm not vegan!You must eat here!
Good dude, good food, funny spot and stickers - the dude handles some excellent vegan fury about the vegan shredded pork.. cuz it is curious, for sure.

Top notch across the board. Amazing vegan options (their whole menu!) and quality service. The only house-made vegan meatball in town did not disappoint, nor did the Thai sammy with ample peanut sauce, and the buffalo sauce was a delight to my spice-averse tastebuds. Grab some napkins and tuck into anything on the menu.
Tried the Elephant Man today, my first time there, the food was amazing and the staff is super friendly! Definitely going back to try everything else.
