I recently took my girlfriend to dinner here for her birthday. Although I didn't have a reservation we were seated quickly on the patio outside. The ambiance of the flowing traffic pretty much sucks but not much they can do about it. Eventually our waiter came around and took our drink and appetizer orders. I got the French onion soup which is very very good. My lady got a house salad and we split the roasted carrots which were amazing. After having drinks and a bottle of wine we waited and waited for our dinner. We both ordered the steak and requested it medium. After quite a while we were served our food. The steaks were basicly well done. The veggies were raw pretty much and thrashed potatoes could have used more time in the microwave. At 35 bucks a plate for a steak I would avoid this place. You can do a better job in your back yard. I know I can. So this place is nice and all. For the money definitely not worth it and I won't be going back
Had dinner here last nite. It was a large party of 8 for a birthday celebration. This was my first time here. It is so cute and cozy here ~perfect for a date night too! Awesome food ~everything was delicious and the service was exceptional!! Kudos to the whole staff! If you haven’t been go check them out!! Outdoor patio too!
Hadn’t been to Rye in years but we’re happy we went last night and we’re putting it back on our list of regular spots. The food was excellent and our server was great. My husband had the Wild Salmon special and I had the pesto shrimp with polenta. Both were very good! So glad for this biz and that they survived Covid. Seems they’re now thriving! Congrats Rye!!!!
Perfect dinner to relax and get full . My daughter and I saw this on the way to our hotel and were able to get a reservation for the same night. The alcohol and dessert list is extensive. Highly recommend the duck confit and any of the soups. WONDERFUL atmosphere. We had a great round corner table and our server was awesome.
We had the lamb stew with spatzle and the chicken dish and both were excellent. Service was quick and friendly. The setting is uniquely European feeling. Will definitely go back.
You will see a cross section of Eugene when you eat at this lovely facility. Plentiful good food and tipping not required.
All dishes were delicious from the soup and salad to the fish and chicken dish. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a romantic dinner. The ambiance was desirable and the volume was low.
Very impressed with the food and the atmosphere. We had the pleasure of enjoying dinner mid-week (Reservations suggested). The menu choices are enticing but a bit limited for all tastes. I enjoyed the largest and unbelievably delicious smoked pork chop. My family dined on the Catch of the Day (Wild Salmon) and the Tutto Mare (Seafood pasta). Impressed with the prompt & courteous service and the bar staff makes great drinks. Thank you for an amazing meal and experience. We will be back.
I recently came back to Rye with a party of 20. They did not disappoint.. their customer service is astounding... The waiter David did everything to accommodate my group and he was kind. The food was delicious and the drink pink chick was so good. So again Rye... Thank you for everything.
Had a wonderful meal with family. Menu was great and food was delicious. The service was attentive, knowledgable and sociable. A bit pricey for the atmosphere and portions, all in all, a pretty enjoyable meal.
