Guinness stew was horrible- chewy meat and cold vegetables. The scotch eggs were burnt. Service was unattentive despite the place being nearly empty.
Great place, great bartenders, great service. Very cool to hang out and grab a drink. The decorations are really unique and the events that happen here are among some of my favorite in Eugene. Where else can you go to a Muppet Treasure Island sing-along or a Labyrinth-themed masquerade?
Got 86d . My kid has mental health issues and it's difficult to go places.. thought it a safe place to go.. she danced better then the male strippers..had fun til they booted her.. don't blame em but we could have worked it out..ugh
Holy delicious cocktails, food, and great staff! Great atmosphere to boot. A definite go-to.
We hadn’t been here since 2017 (just cuz of life reasons) and coming back was great!!! Absolutely love what they did with the decor, seating and patio areas. Food was great too :)
First visit and we were completely disappointed my husband wanted a fish fry. Right off the bat we were told that they were out of just about everything we were intrested in. The fish fry pieces were extremely small. The cheese curds were barely warm and very greasy. Had to pay before we ate and zero customer service. Never came over to see if we needed anything. Had to get up and go to the bar for napkins. Will never go back.
Used to be a regular and a performer. Not again.Toxic environment. Avoid at all costs.Cool idea with terrible follow through.Staff is full of dangerous people. Watch your back and your drink. The staff will find any reason to get violent with customers and staff alike. Regularly turn people away with aggressive requirements that aren’t listed anywhere. Claims to be lgbt+ supportive but anyone is free game if the staff is in a feisty mood. These people are unstable and extremely unsafe
If I could give 0 stars I would. We went to an event where we bought pre sold tickets online. Covid vaccine requirements were not listed anywhere, i have checked everything we recieved! We got threatened by a woman working there that she would "put hands" on me when I asked for the contact info for the owner so I could work on getting refunded for the 4 tickets I had purchased. There was no provocation to cause her to threaten me with phsycical violence. Over 20 women were turned away, many whom were also threatened, at the door after already purchasing their tickets. We all lost our money. Absolutely unacceptable
So grateful Old Nick's has survived the pandemic! Their creative menu, eclectic decor, inclusive attitude, and awesome shows will keep me coming back. :)
Awesome small venue (almost a dive bar)They regularly hold special events that cater to unique crowds and host bands I wouldn't think would perform in Eugene...
