Food is great and the waitresses are awesome! The food is a bit overpriced and does take a long time to come out. We ended up waiting over an hour for our food.
Ok. $103.00 and everything was cold. The server did not once ask how things were. Did I wuss out and not complain? Yeah, but I’m warning you. Avoid this place.
My fiance and I like to go on a date every month. We chose McMenamins tonight. We walked in and were amazed at the atmosphere of the place. A very beautiful place. But the first thing was, The table they sat us at was dirty, so we had to wait to get it cleaned. Our waiter, Hunter I believe. He was nice but wasn't very attractive. We waited a while before getting our order taken. There was an item we ordered that we never got. So that was frustrating. The tots we got seemed like they were left in too long and were hard to eat. At the end of our meal he tried to take my food before I had a chance to ask for a box to go. The food was good but when I come back I would request to sit at the bar of have another server. It kinda ruind the whole experience for us.
Honestly not impressed. The wine and beer was pretty good (the White Rabbit white wine was the tastiest of the small selection), but the food was "meh" - The burgers and tots lacked flavor; even the bell pepper, mushrooms and cheese on one of the burgers didn't add anything special (they looked WAY better than they tasted). Staff was friendly and atmosphere was cozy. Some of the artwork is very bizarre and unsettling... but well done. If I was to go again, I would only get a single drink at happy hour. Otherwise, it just felt like a bad purchase.
The waiter was kind of rude from the start. Once my food was brought to me I let him know there was plastic in it. His response was rude and didn’t apologize or offer anything to make up for it. I’m really disappointed because I normally love McMenamins.
Utterly tasteless, sticky, and brown?! clam chowder, dry tater tots, OK fish sandwich, so-so burger. Very disappointing.
All I have to say is McMenamins has the best food especially the French fries I ever had since a few years ago. I'll be returning here again one day.
Over priced frozen food here. They don’t even honor their menu, didn’t even receive a full three tenders. They cut one in half. And threw in a chunk of breading for fun I guess. The tots had no seasonings. Felt like a school lunch.
A little delayed on my review from May of 2020, but when I saw the pics and remembered how yummy the food was, the service was great, and the environment was quaint and comfortable, I had to leave something. We were very appreciative they were open to begin with, and then we had a lovely experience as well. We would definitely return. Great meeting spot with friends.
Pretty darned good cup of clam chowder, half order of fries = exactly right. Sat inside near fireplace in late November, couldn't ask for more.
