they won't let me sit at table till the rest of my party gets here. lots of rules. annoying music
The food was ok. The non-korean host in the front was the only polite staff who actually refilled our water. The korean girl who had her hair died blonde kept lowering our fire when we didn’t ask, trying to make us cook and eat slower because they didn’t want us eating much at an all you can eat bbq, was mean about her answers, didn’t ever check on us for empty glass of water. We didn’t even get an itemized receipt, told us we would get charged half price for our kid and charged us full price anyway. We could only get 4 pcs of pork jowl because of how premium the cut is (it wasn’t fresh and tasted like fish.) then we were charged a required 18% tip because we were such a “large party.” We had 4 adults and a kid. Never coming here again and ashamed that I brought people of other cultures here thinking that this would be a good intro to Korean food. This is a rude, stingy, Mickey Mouse operation.
Never had a bad experience. We come at least once a month and Dawson and Riley are the best servers ever! We love Kkoki so much! Everything is so good! Definitely recommend
Very good Korean BBQ. The pork belly of all types is to die for (especially the miso)! The Bolgogi was slightly lackluster compared to other marinades I’ve had, but still an amazing place. I’m definitely going to go back!
For the price, you can't complain about anything. Many different kinds of meats for just $25.95 per person with fair quality. Servers were kind and nice. One of the good Korean restaurant in Eugene!
I’m from Southern California, so I often miss the A+ quality KBBQ from down there. Sometimes I feel like the Eugene/Springfield area lacks the diversity of food options I’m used to from back home, but Kkoki highlights how you can find rare gems of culture and umami cuisine here if you look hard enough. I’ve eaten here quite a few times now, and I always enjoy the selection of meats and side dishes they have to offer. Their food is always so flavorful too, and the servers check up on you consistently to make sure you have everything you need. The staff there is very friendly, and I often make conversation with them when I visit. Coming here makes me feel at home, and I’d 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fun, interactive, and delicious dining experience.
This place gives me flashbacks to Korea. They had awesome marinades, good cuts of meat and Soju Kettles, just like missed. Will definitely go here again. It's higher priced, but worth it. Tons of fun.
You’ll be here for a long time! And spend a lot of money! But it is a unique experience that you have to try at least once! They have this amazing red sauce on the tables that is my go-to!
Planned all week to come here as a gift to myself for passing an important goal at work - came here after a long movie hungry and ready to go, get inside sit down and them I'm told that it's actually 2 people minimum for this experience... ? so I'm just supposed to magically make someone appear? ? ask a cousin to come with me? this was a terrible experience and then I had to go navigate Google Maps and Eugene traffic upset trying to find food ? ? disappointed is an understatement, I don't socialize a lot, work from home and now I'm just told I have to wait for some other time to hopefully come when I have another person I want to bring?... not cool, I don't even know if I'd want try to come again this really got to me I was so excited and this was supposed to be a nice moment...
Great food and staff. It was our first time there and a unique experience. Highly recommend the place if you’re up to trying something new.
