I came here to get some dinner WORST SERVICE! In the first place there building was dark you couldn’t even tell it was opened 2nd i had asked for Extra chicken and didn’t get it tried calling BUT THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE and couldn’t go in cause there lobby was closed.! I got two plates and asked for extra teriyaki sauce and the girl give me one small teriyaki sauce for two plates didn’t even have the one that come inside with the food.! They said they only had one left cause they were short staffed.! Mind you it’s 8pm and there still open until 10! I’m now eating dry rice.! I wouldn’t even give it 1 star.!
used to be one of eugene’s best eats, the quality has gone down significantly. and the menu is no longer the same. no beef anymore
Yummmm. So the food here is good and fresh and different. I have eaten at many a Hawaiian BBQ and my favorite dish, Chicken Katsu, was not offered. I decided to branch out and I tried the volcano chicken, it was really good. What was just ok was the Mac salad. It’s not bad or gross but it is not like the typical Hawaiian Mac that anyone familiar with Hawaiian food is used to. It was still really good and I liked it…but I still missed my katsu.
It is incredibly disappointing they no longer have beef. The chicken was so dry I could barely choke it down. I threw over half away it was so terrible. They did not provide sauce in the container as they usually do. I did not ask for it because it had always been there in the past. It seems the hard times have hit Hawaiian Time very hard. Time to scratch this off my lunchtime list of options. Such a bummer.
No more beef on the menu. Lots of rice. Less sauce and macaroni salad. But the pork was delicious. Still a good deal.
Great food, and our goto for a busy night. Not sure why they took Honolulu Beef off the menu or any kind of beef, but the chicken and pork is still good. As a suggestion, please add spam Musubi and chicken Katsu to the menu, because as a Hawaiian traveler we liked these kind of food choices at L & L bbq.
Such friendly staff and great drive thru service. There is always a line but the line moves quick. It's the best place to get a lunch/dinner that's semi nutritious, filling and all for a reasonable price.
Don't know what's going on used to eat here a lot ordered 2 number 3 orders add extra Mac orders were small hardly and food chicken was gross tasted like it wasn't even marinated really disappointed they need to get better help a d people that know what there doing what a shame used to be a good place to eat
