The lattes are good, but the spiced chai was granular and a little bitter. I heard they had vegan food items, but there weren't any. The staff was friendly.
(Updating to say how grateful I am for this kind of response. I know reviews can effect business, and how a business manages themselves says much. I'm raising this a star and look forward to trying again. For what it's worth a few things could occur that make the drinks we had better. I watched the chai added- the lovely blue lotus, my fave. I saw it capped after a 2 second turn of a spoon. I've been a barista and it lumps so you really gotta give it a good stir or it just does that. The coffee which was barely detectable needs a harder tamp, possibly adjusting the grind. The soy milk needs a good shake, which didn't happen as I observed despite me sheepishly asking for this because again if you don't shake the non dairy milks they tend to settle flavors at bottom- this is the number one most common error in non dairy drinks. Honestly a few stirs and shakes might have resulted in great drinks, because it's clear the product is quality. Look forward to tasting again. ) The service was great, and staff really friendly. We got the special and a latte. The drinks tasted like warm water and for many of us that's an hours wage down the drain (2 specialty coffee drinks aren't cheap y'all) I recommend you really sample your own products. My guess is something just isn't going as planned. This place has all the parts, but they aren't working together.
I love this spot. Great pastries, and coffee/tea drinks. Plus the staff is always so warm and friendly.
I'm always met with a smile (yes you can tell even if a mask is worn) and they are always great and kind.If you are looking for a darker coffee, ask for an extra shot.For the decaf , they use a swiss water process. Which is a great thing!
Good selection of fresh treats both savory and sweet, and super fast and friendly service. Just stopped in on my way to work for the first time and it will be my new spot for sure! Coffee was delicious, reasonably priced, and they were so so friendly. Thanks :)
Although this place has been my hands-down favorite coffee stand for a while, I can’t support them anymore. I was just there and neither of the two baristas were wearing masks during the morning rush. How careless and irresponsible, to put your customers at risk like that especially when cases are at an all-time high. Not to mention illegal. You lost a customer today.
I'd rather get my coffee from Global Delights than almost anywhere else in Eugene. Staff is friendly and helpful, always polite and kind. The coffee is delicious and their mixed beverages are absolutely fantastic. Also, the baked goods that they offer are of the highest quality! I love G.D.C.R. and I recommend them to locals as well as anyone traveling through the area.
