My favorite local coffee shop--friendly, good food, good coffee. I say that it has different "living rooms" of sorts, sectioned off rooms that help with noise reduction for a typically busy place. There's also a nice outdoor spot in the back. I've been coming here since I was a freshman at UO, and still come back when I'm nearby. Thanks!
Great selection, good food. Weak chai but good coffee. Has seating inside, outside, in a courtyard, etc. TONS of seating. Ambiance needs a huge huge uplift, feels very dirty and cheap despite being pretty clean. Outlets will not hold your charger (out of the four I’ve tried) so you need to hold on to your chargers but it is what it is.
It was my first time to try a mushroom cheese croissant which was recommended by Sarah. The croissant was very tasty with my espresso. If I come to this area again, I will definitely stop by and placing the same order again.
The have really tasty treats at their bakery, and hands down the best people. Every time I've been there I get the nicest experience. Really love the place. I don't go as often because I live far away, but if you are in campus and you're getting your coffee and treats from other places, you should definitely check this place out at least once.
I ordered an iced mocha, but it was just coco powder mixed, there was no coffee.
During peak crunch time my partner and I spend 3+ days a week at Roma. Every time the baristas are funny, helpful, and fast. This is probably our favorite coffee shop to go to in town. They also have the best prices in the area!
For many years, Espresso Roma has been a Eugene favorite. When doing a downtown walkabout I make it a point to stop here and enjoy a pastry and Cappuccino and watch the world go by outside.
Roma is my favorite campus coffee spot, great customer service, delicious coffee and treats, fun space.
Best coffee house close to campus. I love my coffee simple espresso/American and they deliver. Great Mexican hot chocolate too
This place was open at 6:30am, so we went. We chose it over Dutch bros because we would rather give individuals business. However, we walked in and there were a bunch of flies. Some in the pastry case where the food was being served out of. The staff were friendly, but it just didn’t feel sanitary. We were in a hurry to get on the road and the reviews seemed positive so we both got coffees and a bagel sandwich. The americanos tasted like nothing. It was bizarre. And the bagel sandwiches were barely heated up, the ingredients in them were still cold. When we were leaving, they were starting to load trays into the pastry case of premade sandwiches. Which would be fine if the toasting process was better, and the flies were gone. Overall, we got coffee further down the road. I don’t think it will make you sick, but I would not recommend them.
