Great little Sushi spot downtown! Close to all the action and the other DT restaurants. The food quality is good and the taste is great and the price is reasonable. If you want some good sushi, you need to check this place out.
Almost one hundred menus are here. I wonder how the chef can memorize all the menus ?. Anyway, I have tried a bunch of menus, they were pretty good considering the price. One thing I wish is they will toast the seaweed when they make kimbop. It should make the totally richer flavor!One point needs to be improved--the shop name prompted in the payment machine. Many might think this is not a big deal, but I am always confused with the "Peach Frozen Yoghurt" something name on the list of what I purchased when I review my receipts. I guess the payment machine is a legacy of a previous shop (maybe frozen yoghurt shop?).Some people talked about the attitude of the clerk(s), but I don't mind that since the price is pretty reasonable and I will have thirty-something "seconds" of interaction with the clerk(s). One can express their frustration or discontent by tipping little.
Pretty easy to call up and order the sushi to go. It's definitely a college sushi place. The sushi was very good and the people were very nice. Don't expect to see the sushi made cuz it's somewhere else being made and there's just a counter with a cash register. I would definitely get food there again!
Was fine a year ago. But it seems their A/C is busted, as it's oddly warm inside. Decided to listen to the good reviews only to be served room temperature sushi. Rather than complain I opted to try a piece from each roll. Dumb move, I know, but I have a hard time tossing stuff I've paid for - let alone disrespecting someone by not trying the food I've been served.Anyways, I got food poisoning, big surprise, and I had to duck out of class. Trust me, there's much better sushi around. I hope Duck Sushi can recover given time.
There was one man working and he had several orders ready even before mine on the counter. I’m extremely fast so he is clearly a master of food prep. Then I forgot my drink and he ran it out to me. Absolute best service ever !! Total multitasker. More efficient than a whole restaurant crew. Must be why the place hire him. This happen on April 2nd before closing time.
I just ordered an unagi roll from here and brought it home. This was quite possibly the worst sushi I have ever had. Like worse than grocery store sushi. Way worse. Comparable to gas station sushi. It was fresh but there was hardly anything in it. I was expecting eel and three of 6 pieces didn’t even have eel in them. The other ones just had mostly eel skin with only a little meat. It just felt very skimpy. We will not be returning
This place has decent bubble tea if you get someone who doesn’t liquify it when making it.When it comes to the food-I spent $45 and when I asked for extra teriyaki sauce, I was told it was $1 per sauce (like tiny plastic cup full). Ridiculous. You’d think when someone pays that much for food-They wouldn’t have to pay $5 in sauce after food is already ordered and finished.
The worst service I have ever had!!! I ordered two rolls and my order got messed up twice. When going up to fix the mistake the first time, the cashier didn’t even remember that he took my order, and after telling him the correct roll that I wanted multiple times he still got it wrong and they brought out another roll I didn’t order. I had been waiting 30 minutes at this point so I asked for a refund; they couldn’t even do that!!! They took my information to call me back about the refund for when their manager was working and I still haven’t been called back. I guess I got scammed
My family's favorite place to get sushi. They always make our order right and it's ready to go on time. Their prices aren't bad at all.
Delicious!!! We got the vegas, spider, eskimo, and tempura rolls with an udon bowl (my beautiful mother here got the noodle and roll combo while I got a handroll and matcha boba). Absolutely spectacular ?My favorite is the Vegas roll and you "Can't get better than this" - Mom, with the spider roll. I REALLY recommend their boba (bubble) teas.5/5 Highly recommend coming here. ?
