Weird location but worth the trip...the ladies behind the counter were pleasant and full of joy and greeted each new customer like an old friend stopping by for lunch. My Mom had the chili and I had a teriyaki plate that was good and could have fed 3 people...with teriyaki there's not much difference from place to place it is what it is...so the excellence is in how much and who you encounter while you order it and on both of those levels Doug's exceeded my expectations...I'll be back to try a burger and fry basket next round which also smelled and looked great....well done Doug's...highly recommend...but bring an appetite and they make it all fresh and are popular so be patient :)

Easily the best burger joint in the Eugene/Springfield area. Big portions, affordable prices, friendly staff, delicious food, health protocol compliant, and a diverse menu. Family owned vibe. It's at a gas station which is weird but kind of adds to the charm.
I just wanted to say thank you so much to the sweet lady behind the counter who helped me when my card wasn’t working and I had my little guy in my arms. She brought the reader out to my car so I could get the baby in his car seat and get my purse and wallet out. The food is always amazing and all the employees have always been so wonderful. We’ve been coming to Dougs for over 12 years and appreciate everything about the place. My little one is very happily enjoying his lunch now! ❤️
Amazing food, the employees are some of the coolest staff you'll meet. Definitely a hidden gem in Eugene. Also have keto and vegan options! Take the time and try this place!

Don't let the unassuming facade fool you... the food is amazing and plentiful. Husband and I love the spicy pork or chicken with veg and noodles. The classic American menu is delectable as well! Make sure you visit during the week, they close on the weekends!
There is a great group of employees that work here the food was quick and delicious. The shakes are amazing. The ambiance is a bit lacking but that is part of the charm. The family had a great time and the staff was great with the kids.
