Good if you get there on time. Can get busy and donuts are not always super fresh.
06/26/2022I ordered a chocolate iced and it was filled on top with white buttercream icing for $1.75. It was very fresh. Staff was nice. No bagels here. But a 12 oz coffee is only $1.50.
Best donuts in Eugene and lots of sinfully sweet treats for the offi.
Totally average and that's okay. No frills, no fuss standard donuts. They get the job done. Taste fine. Nothing to make you say wow but perfectly feasible to satisfy a donut need
Hot apple fritters are absolutely the best on the planet. Loved everything I have tried. Polite employees. Thank you for being consistently awesome.
Absolutely the best doughnuts in the area. I drive across town to get them. Dizzy Dean's has been around for a very long time. I am happy to support this local business.
First and last time. Was told these where good donuts. Well there tough and chewy like bread more the a doughnut. The dough was overworked making it a tough terrible donut. Probably the worst I've ever had.
I like their biscuits and gravy, that was my first time eating them there. I tried the blueberry cake donut cause I was like I don't like blueberries much but they made it in a way that it was like eating the tops of the muffin, it was great. I really enjoyed it and appreciate having a nice breakfast with my husband.
Been here over 100 times, maybe more! Usually it's a pleasant experience enjoying a donut or two... Today, I stopped in to grab two dozen donuts for an elderly charitable function. Simple order, "Variety from the bottom shelf, no nuts, and no pumpkin (please)." The young gal with the gauged ears crammed 20 inside a box and wrapped them up nicely with 6 tossed into a sack... I explained very nicely that I was going to a function and needed the two bakers dozen wrapped up in two boxes. (I thought to myself) this was kind of common business sense to me being two boxes displayed with your large sticker logo means TWICE the exposure (whatever). She told me she couldn't give me two boxes because they didn't have enough supply... She also said, "I am only doing what the owner told me to do." I explained that I paid for over $25 bucks of donuts and I even gave her a $3.00 tip! Cannot give a customer two boxes?? She obviously does not understand that the customer is the boss; because without them you have no business! She finally, reluctantly, gave me another box, but the lonely 6 in one box looked unkept. Is this how Dizzy Dean's wants their donuts to look on a table for people to enjoy? She was absolutely unprofessional and if I were Dean, she be cleaning the floors and windows for awhile and not helping paying customers. I'll keep going here and eating their Donuts as I've chalked this up to maybe she's just not enjoying her job. Coupling that with no matter where you go, the customer service is super lacking and good help is nearly impossible to find anymore.
Dizzy Dean's has been a long standing pillar in the community. They take pride in their work and the love shows through. I've been getting my fathers day apple fritters for a few years now from Dizzy Dean's to help remember my families lost fathers and grandfathers.
