I share an alleyway with Agate Alley Bistro and have eaten there many times. I really like the food (especially the mac & cheese) and I think the ambience is awesome too. My qualm with the bistro is that their staff yells and guffaws in the alleyway into the late hours. People live next to and above you guys, and we would really appreciate it if you could take into account when it’s 12AM and your neighbors need to get to sleep. I’m trying to be respectful here, but it’s honestly baffling to me that the staff don’t respect appropriate noise levels in a spot surrounded by apartments. I want people to be able to release steam once they’re off work, but if you guys could do it a bit more quietly and respectfully, I know many of us would be grateful.

Agate Alley Bistro has an AMAZING Taco Tuesday Menu. We enjoyed a variety of tacos (chicken, pork, beef), all of which were amazing...but the beef tacos stole the show. If you love a taco topped with a picked slaw...these tacos are for you! Paired with a couple of Pacificos and two dollar Cuervo shots, dinner was perfection. The wait time for a table was very reasonable (10 minutes), despite being quite busy.

Delicious food!! I personally recommend the chilaquiles and It’s The Schmidt! One of my favorite places to grab breakfast/brunch in all of Eugene!

It is a popular place with a weird, what I came to experience as a “West-Coast” vibe. The food is ok but the overall atmosphere is rushed, stressful. I think I would have a better experience if the prices were not as high. I paid $18 for a small beet salad that was ok.

Sweet, cozy restaurant, nice soft lighting. Dinner entre was disappointingly small-to-medium sized portions, salmon dinner was slightly undercooked and lukewarm, took a whopping 35 minutes to deliver while facility was less than 1/2 full, but was still good and nice presentation. Would give it 4 stars, but while waiter was attentive, got things right & energetic, he needed to relax his semi-corked, raging histrionics.

Yummy cookie... Great tasting pumpkin cookie, nicely presented in a box to go. A treat for sure!

Absolutely delicious. Went with my cousin and we tried a few different things. Mac and Cheese and calamari are both off the charts and the Gremlin sandwich was ?. Will go again for sure

Great and yummy happy hour menu!

As a party of 4, we arrived on a Sunday mid-morning and were told it would be approximately a 15 minute wait. Instead, we stood outside in the cold for over an hour waiting to be seated. Once seated, the food was very good and the service was fine. Some tables were empty, so it appeared they had a staffing issue. Without the poor estimate and length of wait time, it would have been a 4 star experience. TIP: The main entrance is now semi-hidden on the right side through the gate.

This is the restaurant that got me and my crush together, best place to go to if you really wanna hit a home run with a date. ?
