Great spot. The steak was insanely perfect cooked to my exact request served with a gratin that accompanied it so divinely. The blue cheese butter was a freaking pleasure sensor tantalizer. My husband got the empanadas and as Latina that makes empanadas regularly those were innovative and delish! The crust was made of puff pastry and it had a Smokey chipotle flavor to them. They are vegetarian and phenomenal. The Huckleberry lemon drop cocktail was UNBELIEVABLY DELISH. All that said, the server Joe-Linn was the best server we’ve ever had. She saw that we had our kiddos with us and brought over a toy chest for our 7 year old to choose a toy AND brought my one head old oyster crackers and orange slices at the start of the meal which kept her calm. She also brought the baby a special little coffee lid on her water cup so she could use it as a sippy cup. This was our first time at 6th Street grill after years of driving by. I tell you this—it won’t be our last. My family will have countless meals at this incredible spot. The food, the atmosphere, and above all the service made it our new favorite spot!
Excellent food and service! Will be going back!!
Had a great experience before my show the other night!! I know the crew was working hard and they made my night wonderful. Best of luck, I will see you next time we are in town=)
Went to 6th Street for late breakfast/brunch for my birthday. It was my first time there, but my ex and my daughter have been there a few times. I had the Avocado Toast, which is a variation on Eggs Benedict, similar to eggs Florentine. What it is is basically 2 pieces of artisan bread toast slathered with fresh avocado spread, topped with two fried eggs. Here's the full description from their menu:"Rustic fire grilled bread topped with arugula dressed in a lemon nage, pickled red onions, radish, cotilla, and a fried egg."Great friendly service, casual atmosphere, not too over done with sports memorabilia. Might consider it a little pricey, I think I paid $12.00 for my avocado toast, but I haven't really been out to eat in a while so not sure what the current average price is for a nice, sit down meal. But you can always be sure the food is of top quality. They have table as well as bar seating. All-in-all, I would recommend 6th Street Grill to anyone who enjoys a fun night out with great food and spirits, you supply the friends.
Great food - fish and chips is amazingly good for pub grub. Bartenders/waitstaff are very nice too. Great casual place to grab a bite
Great place! Excellent bartender named Raven
Owners are, let's just say... not nice. Don't get me wrong, the food is ok, actually quite good, if you can get it within 30 minutes of seating, lol (their wait time is not worth it). Also, by the time you get food for a party of 4, ... 2 orders may come out first, 3rd out 5 mins later, waiting on fries, by the time the 4th gets their meal, it's probably wrong, and the rest of the group is done eating... (sigh) They have a bad local, lack of focus, plus the employees are not visibly happy. So, if you want to support people who treat others with disrespect (as you have read in previous reviews), but want a decent burger, then eat here. Otherwise, I would suggest you find just a good burger elsewhere and feel good as a human being.
The server was the best human on the plant . she was so nice and on top of everything . beautiful evening thanks to her .
By far, one of the best bar/restaurants in town. The food is prepared by a real chef. You may have to wait a bit, but it's worth the wait! Full bar, great atmosphere and locally owned! My favorite is the Fish and Chips and I always start with a nice cold Old Fashioned. Family dining on one side and a sports bar on the other side.
Not very impressed. Woefully understaffed. Two servers (one was also bartender) for the whole place-indoor and patio. And the other server appeared to be in training. I want all Eugene eateries to succeed. And understand the difficulties they are facing getting help. But we saw 3 groups come in, wait and wait to be seated, then leave. Will they ever try again? I hope they are able to get it figured out.
