Stopped in for a early lunch with my son. Ordered up a 14" pizza with 5 toppings. It was delicious and my son agreed. Crisp thinner type crust with a thicker crust end that was amazing. Definitely recommend this place. The staff was attentive and friendly. The place wasn't busy at 11 in the morning on a weekday eiti. Perfect little pizza place with a decent beer selection on tap too.
I had my first slice of Woodstock's pizza 40 years ago at the age of 15. We had our swim team parties at Woodstock's and shared many of these great pizzas with many dear friends. In later years we local Marines & Midshipmen used to spend time drinking our way around the world while doing our laundry at Suds and Suds.....I even got a shirt. I have always believed that it is the sauce that really sets off a pizza but the crust is important too. I always loved Woodstock's sauce and learned that with respect to the crust, I could always request that it be done to my taste. So I always ask for my crust a little on the crispy side and the staff always comes through. It comforts me to see Woodstock carrying on its great tradition in the town I will always remember as home.
You want some delicious, easy to scarf pizza?Well, you came to the right place!Welcome to Woodstock's! A pizza parlor with wicked good vibes and great customer service! My family and I got a 1/2 Moo U Special and 1/2 Woodstock Special with linguica, bacon, pepperoni, black olives, and basil! The wait was long (about 45-60 minutes) but that's to be expected when you're getting a custom, made-to-order pie and you're not the only customer. The regular white dough is light and chewy and the og red sauce is aromatic and sweet. It was concerningly easy for us to scarf down a 16" pie. Also loved that they got paper plates and shakers with parmesan and red chili flakes available for grabs.Basically, come for the vibes, stay for the pies! ?
This is the pizza that will amaze you!Awesome toppings, delicious crust, lots of options for folks whose diets seek vegetarian or other than the traditional fare.Very clean and COVID CONSCIOUS.There is a lounge onsite called Suds and Suds. You can have a beer while you wash your clothes! That's right I am talking washers and dryers and fun while you do your chores!Good mix of students and locals. Can't wait to go back!
Their house made red sauce really differentiates them from the competition. If you're a sauce lover be sure to ask for extra with your bread sticks. The wings were on the oily side, my blue cheese dip slipped right off when I dunked the wings. As for the pizza as a whole my recommendation is to keep it simple. Pepperoni, Hawaiian, Vegetarian, and Cheese are all good and with the toppings here, less is more.
Good customer service! Pizza however... Quality isn't great. As you can see.Been moving all day... Very nice! Soup instead of burned. It's kind of a surprise... Usually not that bad!
Great, funky pizza joint. Pizza is great for American pizza.
I have had Woodstock’s a few times at work and loved it. Decided to get it for dinner as we are trying to find a pizza place we agree on. I have been craving an antipasto salad so I ordered one as well and was very disappointed to get home and not have the salad dressing. I live on the opposite side of town and do not have time to drive back just for dressing before my partner gets home. I will have to pick up dressing when I get groceries tomorrow. Lack of attention to detail.
We used to love getting pizza at Woodstocks, but the quality has gotten so low it's not worth the effort anymore. Our last pizza was cardboard, they forgot the meat on my side of pizza and forgot the tomatoes.
A little grouchy at people who have not put mask their mask on when they get up from their table. But it is hard to hurt the history of Woodstock pizza.
