The food here is average at best. "Shirred eggs" are a gimmick, not really an improvement. Real problem is the owner, who is as pleasant as a an open can of tuna left in a hot car. Our shirred eggs were watery soup and our "omelets" were bland yellow doorstops. These are all enjoyed while Nurse Ratchet lurks around the place making people wish they were at 7-11 instead.Did I mention that the food was meh?
The shirred eggs were really good. The coffee was just okay. It was a bit chaotic in there and it appeared the owner was a little grumpy with someone that seemed to be a new employee. She was watching over him with a stern eye. I see this often when an owner is working in a shop. They often don't realize we the customers are watching and it makes us uncomfortable. All that is to say, the food was good, the coffee was okay, and the atmosphere was tense and uncomfortable.
Great little bakery and coffee shop does serve breakfast had the omelette with white cheddar cheese bacon and ham ohh so so good came with fresh toast with jam and butter on side and I got a muffin nice and hot out of oven if your in Albany great little place to stop for some treats or a breakfast the mocha was there house mocha and it was really good
Its good stuff but it's really slow.
Lovely food. The shirred eggs are luscious, and they fill you with a gentle warmth. Service is top notch. Thank you for serving the community well with this lovely option.
Our cashier/hostess, "Merriwith," was unfriendly and rude. She didn't say "hello," "welcome," or "hi, I'll be right with you" or even smile. She refused eye contact and when my mother spoke to her she briskly said "I'm not ready to take your order." I wanted to leave. Eventually she said she was ready and then interrupted us with corrections, just nit-picking every little thing. Our meal was irrelevant after that. I won't return.
Great place for lunch. So fresh, in house made breads! Sam and team present a nutritious, tasty, good size potions in a comfortable, clean atmosphere! Love it here
The management is horrible horrible horrible to the employees. After witnessing an older gentleman being terrible I would hardly call him a gentleman. I will never spend a dime in that establishment after seeing how they treat their staff... 7-Eleven would be better of a choice than this place after how they treat their employees. Go someplace else don't support people who are horrible to their employees. If I could give it negative Stars I would. There's plenty of other struggling businesses that could use your help this one gets what they deserve.

Mashed potatoes, rice and green salad on the breakfast menu WHAT are you thinking? Enjoyed the earlier menu go back to the way it was.
