Been trying "new" to me restaurants around town. Staff was super friendly in walking me through the options.Japchae is delicious! First time I have ever had something like this and will return again. It was a vegetarian dish and was great timing for it. Was light for the stomach with awesome flavor. Also, I appreciate their spin on Boba drinks. Great on a warm day. Will be back again!
The flavor (food) was different from what my companions & I are used to. The meat was tender & easy to eat. The meat had a similar taste as found in the cucumber/carrot salad bite that was on the plates.Kimchee fried rice flavor was different than others I have tried. I think I would eat it again. It had a good level of spice heat.Concerning price, I think it's higher than what I would expect from the experience. My preferred kimchee fried rice is from Young's Kitchen near the fairgrounds.
Quick order ahead service. Everything looked great and tasted so yummy. Bibimbap with extra picked veggies and peach boba tea.
Excellent. The menu will cover your want for flavor from skewers, to soups and my favorite- bowls. The chef (Ryko) has mastered the Bibimbap with a perfectly crafted sauce with just the right amount of sweet and spice and ingredients that taste fresh and flavorful! This Asian gem is a must try, with dishes that leave you feeling satisfied yet not weighed down, and flavors you cant wait to come back to. The chef displays his passion for food in each dish we have seen so far!Thank you!
Good vegetarian option. Staff very pleasant and courteous. Owner very friendly. The spices are their specialty. He takes great pride in making sure he is giving us the very best in quality. I loved the japanese noodles. It stands out as a good vegetarian place with the option for the meat lovers too.
Amazing food! I don't say that lightly as Korean restaurants are a dime a dozen where I live. Really wish I could eat here all the time. Ryko is also wonderful, and a delight to talk with.
Super yummy place! There are vegetarian options available! The Japchae was sooooo darn good, their kimchi fried rice had fish sauce so I couldn't try it but my bf really liked it. The Boba freeze is a must order too!
The staff were very nice and had great customer service. It's the taste of the food and portion size I'm not a big fan of. I tried their kimchi fried rice, japchae, and a skewer, and another I dish I don't remember. I thought their portions were small for the price. The kimchi fried rice and japchae were decent, could be better in my opinion.
I don’t even know how to adequately describe the mind blowing deliciousness of this food. Chef is a transplant from San Francisco and brought his original recipes and ingredients to make every sauce from scratch. I ordered a mango boba breezer which had mango purée, fresh mango chunks, and boba. I’ve tried every boba in town and this one is superior in every way. I also ordered the Honey Grilled Garlic Tofu and a scoop of rice with seasoning. Even if you hated tofu, you would love this. The flavors, the texture…everything was perfect. And let’s talk about money. These price points are so accessible to everyone, as they are geared toward the student population. Go try this place and pay your compliments to the chef. ?
The BEST! Just go. Stop reading reviews and just go! My kiddos and I enjoyed every dish ordered (honey garlic tofu, seasoned rice, spicy chicken bulgogi, chicken kalbi, and japchae). We met the owner and hearing how each dish is made and what goes into it (best ingredients which are personally picked-up in San Francisco) made the experience top notch. Thank you Ryko!
