I ate here one other time, at the end of the year and it was ok.A week ago I ate there again. I ordered from the lunch menu, which was a taco and enchilada. I asked for ground beef, for the meat preference, for both. When I cut into my enchilada, the meat was shredded beef. I didn't ask for that. I told our waiter it was wrong and he said he couldn't fix it because the ticket was already closed out. He also said, I'm pretty sure you said shredded beef. I don't like shredded beef and I know darn well I ordered ground beef. The enchiladas are so small anyway so I couldn't believe he wouldn't fix my order. The selection of meat didn't have anything to do with the price. On top of that, they charge $1.50 to have green sauce instead of the red sauce. Not worth it. The food is ok but our waiter has poor customer service skills.
I am sorry and I see all the positive reviews. I ordered from them last night through Munchy's. One kid got chicken tacos. Another got chicken tenders. Both have thrown up and I have had to call them out of school. Husband ordered chicken/steak fajitas. Over cooked. I tried to order the Trio Platter but I am not sure what I got because it had steak, shrimp and a chile relleno. Lets just say, I could use the shrimp as bouncy balls to bounce off my walls for my cats entertainment. I am not sure if this is a munchy's problem or the restaurant's issue. Food was cold. Overcooked and well I have 3 family members down with vomiting. So, not sure who I should discuss this with. Munchys does not make it easy to send complaints to.
I have passed by El Palenque hundreds of times but finally decided to stop in yesterday for lunch. They have delicious food and even better drinks! The Mango Tajin margarita was amazing. I highly recommend checking it out. We will definitely be back again soon!
Great food! I had the fajita burrito, and it was huge and amazing. The server was fantastic. My friend and I took our youngest son's here on a Mom-son outing and he had our boys take turns help make the table side guacamole, which was delicious. The atmosphere is great, even or boys said it looked fun inside. Prices are very reasonable, especially for how much food you receive.
I ordered the shrimp fajita burrito and my husband ordered carnitas...both were exceptional. I have a dairy allergy and they accommodated me easily. Very courteous staff. Wonderful experience. Highly recommended.
The wait staff was great. They were friendly and quick. The quality of the food however was less then satisfactory. Half of it was cold and the meat was flavorless. I dont plan to return anytime soon.
The food is wonderful and fixed the way I ask (no onions). Service is great.
THE BEST Mexican street tacos. They are very generous on their portions and the flavors are amazing.
The food was pretty good. There was gristle in a few bites. The flavor was great though. Service was good and everyone was very nice. I would definitely go back and try something else.
Best margaritas, pollo asado, carne asada and chile relleno in 100miles. Super friendly staff, highly recommended
