Went to American Dream Pizza on a recommendation from a friend while we were in town and we weren't disappointed. Staff was friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant has a down to earth vibe to it. They serve local beers, and also provide gluten and dairy free option on the menu. We ordered a medium gluten free pizza with basic pesto sauce, mozzarella and spinach. The crust was nice and crisp, and the medium was plenty for my daughter and I. If I was ever in the area again, I would definitely go back for another visit.
The pizza was very good, although they slice it weirdly, but that doesn't detract from the taste. And they delivered it on time and steaming hot.
Friendly hostess and bartender/ order taker. Quickly seated on the rod- very nice! I recommend the roof. Ordered pizza and salad. The pizza slices are precooked reheats, crust is crunchy/tough. Salad is lettuce and 2 little pieces of carrot, pretty plain. The chocolate chip cookies are very good. Our food was dropped off on a bench, no follow up or checking on you gust “table 5” and you go get it - covid rules are becoming an excuse to be lazy.
Looking for new friendly to enjoy a drink and pizza. Very disappointed not able to enjoy an afternoon drink and pizza without being hassled about wearing a mask.
Several reviews have stated the crust is terrible, and I agree. I thought so the first time we tried the restaurant, but my husband was anxious for a second attempt. We visited the establishment for the second time and specifically asked whether they could make a thin crust, to which they answered, "No. The crust is the signature of their pizza." But, they recommended the mini pizzas which had the smallest crust to toppings ratio. We decided to give it a try, but I was so disappointed. The crust was just plain bad. It was bland with no taste, and so hard that it hurt my mouth to eat the pizza. I ended up leaving over half of the mini pizza behind. The second visit left me with the question, "what is the allure of this restaurant and their pizza?"
Pizza just has such a terrible crust compared to all other pizza restaurants in the same area. Employees are sooo nice, service is great and salads are too... they just need to change their recipe for their crust, it’s just awful.
Well, I have heard alcolades for American Dream Pizza for years. I was visiting my hometown with my family and decided to give it a shot. I was so disappointed. The sauce had no seasoning, nor did the dough. The pizza and calzones were soggy. What a waste of $$.
Ate here before going to a Football game. Worst pizza I have ever had. Crust was so hard I could not chew the slice. No sauce, very little toppings. Be warned... not good.
The pizza is nothing to write home about or spectacular, though the slices and crust are very substantial and you will get your money’s worth here. Service and employee are very good and all in all a pretty good pizza joint
Once we figured out how this restaurant works we enjoyed our visit. It was not clear upon entering that you are expected to order at the counter & then seat yourself. A server brings your food to your table when it is ready. This is definitely a "no-frills" restaurant. It is also very loud on a busy night.
