This was my first time at this restaurant and I gave it a poor rating for the following reasons.First, the bartender kept trying to get rid of the foam as he poured beer from the tap in to the glass. He would dump out the foam, fill the glass with more beer and foam, dump off the foam and each time wipe down the sides of the glass with his ungloved hands. This was done maybe 5-6 times. Before serving the beer he sprayed water from a plastic bottle over the sides of the glass, but failed to dry the sides of the glass before serving the beer.Second, the service was erratic. The four entrees were delivered at different times, therefore we did not start eating together. There was a lapse of at least 5 min between entrees. The waitress had to be reminded to bring our additional food requests. Also sometimes she just dumped the food on the middle of the table.Third, the quality of food was variable. The breakfast item, biscuits, bacon, hash brown, ~3 tbs gravy, unmelted cheese and a single piece of charred bacon was not at all appealing. The chili was very good, chicken wings were excellent and steak dinner was also good.It was the beer and bartender, the breakfast item and a lackadaisical waitress that made for my poor rating. No excuse for being overwhelmed as there were four customers at the time we were there. Bad nights happen and unlucky for us it was one for the books.

Didn't get drinks so I can't speak to that, but the food we did get was obviously frozen before it was cooked. Sandwiches are made basically from with hot dog buns and despite no one being there, it was still slow. Drinks and apps are a maybe, but I'll never go for an actual meal again.

It doesn't matter how big the burger is if it has no flavor other than grease. Tots were undercooked and cold. The service was horrible. Barely anyone in there and the bartender didn't even attempt to acknowledge me standing there until I forced him to. Never again.

This is a bar and grill in North Corvallis that doesn't appear to have that many customers. The waitress was friendly and helpful, but the taco salad we had was terrible. It was the worst I have ever eaten. This was not the fault of the waitress, as she did not prepare it. It might be a good place to drink, but not to eat.

Great atmosphere, good fun! Lots of different screens with various sports to enjoy while you are there.$1 Tacos on Tuesday! Great variety on the menu. They even serve breakfast all day at reasonable prices!Good mix of College kids and locals!Pool tables, giant Connect Four, Corn Hole, Lottery Gambling, Outside seating.Clean restrooms with nice handicapped access for patrons.Fun Bartenders....!

I moved to Corvallis from out of state in June 2021. I live just 4 blocks away from the old downtown area, full of restaurants, etc. BUT, really wanted to find a place to eat, relax, with draft beers and sports TV. Discovered Benchwarmer's ond day while out driving around... and, what a GREAT PLACE this is!! Good menu diversity and still reasonably priced (remember the current inflation!). Super friendly staff. Good service. Clean. Upbeat. Have never been made to feel like I need to hurry up and pay/leave so they can seat the next patron. NOT too excessively noisy (exceptions for our Oregon teams on TV). This is a well managed establishment, people! Give it a try and then keep going back!! Susan

Been only twice and only for breakfast but I was impressed how good their food was and perplexed at how few customers there were. Maybe afternoon/evenings are busier. I’ll have to say, I’ve never thought that chicken and waffles sounded appetizing but I was curious enough to give it a try - sans honey (although on the side). Amazing! I would have theirs anytime. I highly recommend them and plan on checking them out for dinner sometime soon

Great food, horrendous serviceI stopped by benchwarmers on a Sunday afternoon and ordered an amazing burger, one of the best in Corvallis. However, the service I received from Sandra was the worst I’ve had in recent memory. I would’ve had better service if I tried to order a beer on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. I waited 45 minutes for my fries refill/a second beer. Of note there were 8 people total in the bar, it wasn’t like it was busy. She clearly knew a couple of the people at the bar that night and catered to their every need while I was 10 feet away trying to get another beer and fries. The food was great but I still have a horrid taste in my mouth about this restaurant because of the service.

Kaylee is hands down the most capable and personable bartended I've run into at a random bar out here. She is not only highly entertaining but a consumate professional. And fun to boot. You can be casually talking to your friend on the far side of the bar and deciding to get another drink and before you can flag her down she has already poured you what you want. Plus she is gorgeous, which never hurts.

Our first visit will be our last visit. Took 5min to be greeted, was told to sit anywhere, then waited for menu after being told to look at sign on table for menu. Girl whom waited on us, didn't help much, took order walk away, delivered food, checked in with us all while being on her phone, not to mention didn't stop directly at our table while asking, again more interested in her phone. Overpriced food, for under delivered service. I would understand for lack of service if volume of business would be a factor, but it wasn't. ?
