Yeah, the largest Korean restaurant in Corvallis and they do provide Korean BBQ, sushi and Korean food… you can have a lot of choices! BUT Korean BBQ definitely way too expensive.. sushi and Korean food are average too. Also Korean food have limited options …Sometime it can be really busy …

The best salmon sashimi in USA!!! I always order it with a rice, it’s so happy to eat in there. Also, they have really tasty Korean dishes as well. All the stews are good, soups are fantastic, just order any of them with rice, you are gonna so appreciate it. Seafood pancake is also something you must have. I’ve been in Corvallis 6 years, so many good memories in Aomatsu. Owner and staffs are always so friendly.

Sushi was ok

Where do I start well this place is your some what traditional type sushi place. But the FOOD is very very GOOD. I think it is the BEST sushi place in town no doubt about. I travel and been to many sushi restaurants this is one of my new favorite places to go if I'm ever around. Not only food is good the customer service is awesome. Even the chef welcome you in. Sit at the bar once you start socialize with them the experience get even better well for me it did Chef was very friendly and he LOVES when you ask for chef special. He truly poor his heart into the food he makes. Definitely coming back if I'm in the area.

The sushi I ordered was adequate, although it wasn't around 6 pieces as the waitress told me, so I was a bit disappointed as it got to me that it wasn't the amount I had been told. However, I waited almost 25 minutes for two rolls, and it seemed many of the other tables also waited just as long or even longer for their order. I was really hungry by the time that the sushi got to my table, and I devoured it without even getting a chance to really savour it. I just think the wait type was really long for the amount I ordered, otherwise the service and food was quite good.

Portion size for the rolls and sashimi were small, especially for the price. Escolar (sashimi) didn't have any flavor, like it spent too much time soaking in tap water. Had two rolls and the tempura was the best, but was merely good, not great. I laughed at the review that said it was the best sushi in Oregon... if that's true then I know what business I need to open... and fast! We are from Montana and I know at least two sushi places (one in Billings, one in Bozeman) that are SOOOOO much better and for about the same $. Based on others reviews and my own experience I am def not going to try this place again.

Again… this place did not disappoint! It is a MUST place to go when you are in downtown Corvallis!

Aomatsu has incredible service and the sushi is the best we’ve had in all of Oregon. We frequent this restaurant on a weekly basis and always looking forward to dining there. Sushi chef Sam is friendly and and always makes our experience there special.

We were visiting our son in Corvallis and he told us about this place. Four of us went there for lunch and had their Salmon teriyaki box lunch and Kim Chee stew soup. I had to say the salmon was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it if you go there. My husband loved his Kim Chee stew soup, hot and spicy. We loved our meal so much that we had take out again smother day. I ordered the Beef Ribeye Steak Teriyaki and didn’t like it as much. Beef wasn’t as tendered as I had expected. I wish I had ordered the salmon again but wanted to try something different. I would try them again though. The service was excellent. Owner and staff are all super courteous and friendly!

Best sushi I and my friend have had so far in Corvallis. Every thing we got was delicious and tasted very fresh and the wait staff were super knowledgable and made some great recomendations. The waikiki roll and blue fin tuna nagiri were particularly great.
