No such thing as "too sweet" despite the name! This place is one of our favorite stops for treats, there's so many amazing gluten free options!
The cronuts they have are GREAT! I didn't realize that they are not true donuts because they are baked, but they are donut shaped and delicious with great toppings and a croissant/donut always has a place in my stomach.
OMG GLUTEN FREE (and vegan) DONUTS TASTE EXACTLY LIKE REAL DONUTS. Husband and I were visiting Bend as we want to move here and wow! Can’t believe after all the not-so-delicious GF donuts I’ve had since my sensitivity, Too Sweet Cakes restored my faith haha.See the photos for the flavors they offer in GF since I know there’s a lot of good reviews but no mention the flavors! I had the sprinkle donut and I’m in heaven.
I am and can only review for the gluten free vegan donut…. Don’t walk RUN to go get this delicious treat! I’d say it would rival any donut I’ve ever had. Gluten free or not. Delish!
Really appreciate the vegan options. Their donuts are soooo good. Shelby’s mom who works there is nice to talk to :) the atmosphere is also really cute
I’ve ordered from here a few times now and have been happy every time with it.They call if you place an order through DoorDash and are out of something. Happy to substitute for another item or provide a refund.Their lemon cake is good and a personal favorite is the berry pop tart with brown sugar (I’m not a fan of the other pop tart they have). Their donut croissant was not for me but in company that has tried it, it was a like.The cupcakes are pretty alright but kind of small for the price. They could also do without the sprinkle bubbles on top (imo).Staff had been friendly and professional when I’ve worked with them.Overall a good experience and will continue to come back to.
We came in a couple weeks ago and our first impression was sadly a miss for us, but based on other reviews, it seems like we just came in on an off day. There wasn't much of a selection, we were hoping to get 3 cupcakes to celebrate a birthday but they didn't even have 3 cupcakes to offer. We ended up settling on one cupcake, scone, and a cookie for about $10. The scone was rock hard and inedible so we tossed it, both the cookie and cupcake were okay though but they were definitely a day old or possibly older. Overall just a bummer of an experience, especially after reading such good reviews. Since we aren't local we probably won't be back, but would advise people to maybe call ahead to get inventory and see if what you're looking for is available.
My daughter sent me donuts from Too Sweet Cakes via delivery. I didn't know that vegan GF donuts were available in Bend. These are delicious!! I will be visiting the store to get more. What a treat!
We frequent Too Sweet often. Their coffee, cookies, pastries and other items are all delicious. However, our first experience with their small cake was less so. The cake we had is roughly 5" round in diameter, about 7" tall, and covered in multi-colored sprinkles. The cake itself was great but the white frosting was perhaps too sweet. The only way I can best describe it is to compare it to Baker's Chocolate versus a taste bud expectation of 70% dark chocolate.
The cake is beautiful and fitting for a huge milestone birthday. However, I am completely devastated and disappointed that it came in this box. This cake is going on a 2.5 hour drive. I have ordered cakes this size before and traveled 4 hours when in the proper box with ease. But this. There’s NO top. No wrap. It’s going to get destroyed. When I purchased the cake to have picked up in a few hours, they never mentioned they were out of boxes. What gets me is that they knew they were out of boxes, but chose not to inform customers. This just makes me sad.
