Really chill place to hangout and have a beer and the delicious Big Foot BBQ. The brisket on a bun is so good and tender. Maybe the best brisket I’ve ever had.
The Outfitter Bar and BBQ is a great Bar and BBQ at Seventh Mountain Resort. They have a wonderful selection of food and beverages. A great outdoor venue and they had live music. The place reminds me a bit of a Bend area bar before they got all trendy.

Ordered takeout to bring back to our room at the resort. Service was quick but the restaurant was not busy at all, so I can’t say how fast they’d be on a busy day. I wanted a salmon salad but they were out of salad. Instead I opted to share a pizza with one of my kids. It was pizza you’d expect from a (gross) school lunch, not a restaurant, especially for the cost. My husband ordered chicken fingers, which he said tasted like they came from a frozen bag. Daughter got macaroni and cheese, which I also tasted and it had a weird flavor and was not good. We were very disappointed. I ended up taking one bite of pizza and then resorting to my yogurt in the fridge for the rest of my dinner. If you’re staying at Seventh Mountain, it’s worth it to drive into Bend for dinner. That being said, the bartender seemed confident in his cocktail-making abilities and might be able to make you a good drink. We didn’t grab drinks that night because they were out of a ingredients for the one we wanted.
Terrible food and bad service. As locals of Bend, we will not be attending again.
We had a great stay here! But beware, they will try to get you to attend a promo upon checkin. They are extremely pushy about it. DONT DO THIS. It is a timeshare presentation. Time shares ruin people’s finances and lives, and they are impossible to get out of. The hotel itself was worth 4 or 5 stars, but overall the business is a scummy one if it is anywhere near the time share business. Spread the word.
When we arrived at Seventh Mountain Resort, imagine our dismay to realize that RCI had never made a reservation on our behalf! The points were taken out of our RCI account and we had a confirmation number. Instead of a three bedroom unit, we had nothing. So much for a family reunion! This was the first time in 14 years that our family was able to vacation together. Five of us were stuffed into a one bedroom unit until the next day when assistant manager, Amber, was able to find us a three bedroom unit.. The resort itself is very nice but the first night ruined the entire vacation for me. We will never use RCI again and I will tell this to anyone who asks.
Great place and so close to the Mountain...woodsy place just out of town just a bit. We noticed a lot of people live at those condos year around. which leads to a lot of junk on the decks of the condos around you. Its not just a vacation resort place anymore. That must be why its hard to get good weeks for vacations.
