Host was great! Small and intimate setting w/ incredible beers

Great spot for sour beer lovers and a nice change from all the IPAs and pale ales everywhere else. Small selection brewed from locally sourced ingredients of the nearby forests and the rest Oregon has to offer. They did a great job of using old barrels to separate their patio area from the parking lot to enjoy your beers outside or appreciate the shade indoor their airy tasting room. Check the wall of maps to put a pin in your city if you happen to be visiting from anywhere uncommon then enjoy a flight.

This place is super cool. They are doing such fun experimental things with beer. This place is not for your standard hop head. They do a lot with wild fermentation and sours. Barrel aging most of there beers. If you are into more interesting experimental sour beers this is the spot to check out. Would recommend very much. Also staff was super helpful with explaining different tasting profiles for the beers. Letting us taste some beers they had on tap that where close to the bottled ones that where not on tap. Love this place will return anytime I’m back in bend for sure. Also will look for there stuff in stores when I can find it.

I have never left a review on any platform but this place deserves one. First off the ales are fantastic, Bend needs something to shake up the beer scene and this place does that. Wild-fermented yumminess!I didn’t catch the name of the person working on Sat- 1/26 but she made our whole experience. I could tell she cared a lot about the brewery because she took the time to explain every beer to us in depth, answer our questions and tell us all sorts of stories… She was just a delight to interact with and she was holding it all down by herself with no flaw. I am a small business owner and I know the rarity of finding someone so amazing to take care of your business. Thank you Ale Apothecary for the amazing experience, all around.

Best wild fermented ales I have ever had and the tasting room is a great experience. Emma was so knowledgeable and friendly, we will definitely be back.

Can't say enough good things about this place- excellent service, vibe, and high quality brew! We went twice on a short stay in Bend and we'll for sure be back next time we are in town. If you like trying new beers and styles definitely check Ale Apothecary out!

This place is absolutely outstanding. Great ownership, great staff, amazing ales. One of my all time favorites.

A nice place to have a drink. They are more like a mead, had the cherry and it was delicious.

In a town full of amazing beer, Ale Apothecary stands aside the majors making artfully crafted, spontaneously fermented beer in old world tradition. A beer geek mecca. No food, not good for kids or pets.

My favorite brewery period. Paul Arney and Co and crafting the most interesting and complex beers on the west coast. If you love craft beer + passion for process, place, and time, this your spot
