Disappointed. The bacon on the maple bars needed to be more crisp and/or grease drained, and the doughnut was doughy. Assuming they were fresh made in general the other varieties seemed dry or dense. They looked fine but didn’t taste up to the quality I expected from a speciality shop.
Great donuts, friendly staff, and inexpensive.
In town for a few days and was looking for donuts for my dad's 70th birthday. I chose Sweetheart because of Google reviews and I'm so glad I did. Maple bars, sweetheart, twists and chocolate bars were great and the lady was so nice.
One of the few places in town that produce my favorite donut the cruller. Soft, airy, moist. It is perfectly made every single time. Never had a bad donut of experience here!!! Thank you, Sweetheart.

Second time I've gotten a Apple fritter and it wasn't cooked inside...yuk... Only could eat outside...use to love the fritters! I think I'll go back to Richards...
