Really awesome place to grab a real German lager and some excellent food. The spatzle here is thick, chunky, crispy and incredible. Schnitzel was amazing too - the gravy, red cabbage, everything.I tried the Doner kebab sandwich and found it to be disappointing compared to what you'd get in Germany. But I've never had decent Doner anywhere in Oregon anyway, so I didn't ding any points there - just, if you order it, moderate your expectations a little bit especially if you know what real Doner should taste like.Far too easy to sit here and drink beer after beer.

This is by far my favorite spot to visit in bend. Staff is amazing and interactive. Their food is German cuisine and its on point, and the stein club punch card program is so fun! They have a fantastic selection of import beverages that are traditionally poured, which means you should order your drinks a few minutes in advance but the head retention is phenomenal! Worth checking out.

Great place for beer and a snack.Stars for good beer selection and a very tasty sauce on the käse sptäzleDown stars because the spätzle is pre boiled and thus squishy and unpleasant. The currywurst was not cut all the way through and bland.

The beer is great "some" of the food is really good. This is not a family friendly location. We were told by our server that the owner is trying to discourage family dining. We arrived with an 8 month old and were told they do not have highchairs to discourage children from the location. Will not return. Our 4th time here, we are locals, food is hit and miss.

I went here for the first time yesterday and it was a pretty good experience. I now understand why German beer so highly respected because their selection was amazing compared to what is made in the states. The schnitzel sandwich was quite tasty but super heavy! Be ready for a nap afterwards. I couldn't help but feel like they were slightly understaffed for a Saturday but the 2 girls working were doing their absolute best.

Good beer, meh food. I got the bratwurst sandwich and the bun was cold, just a bit of sauerkraut…served with a small side of overcooked French fries the curry ketchup was tasty. I hope they figure out the food bc the beer selection is quite legit.

Amazing! We came as two families with young kids, the service was great! The food was amazing! Every dish was outstanding, and the beer was great! Would definitely come back!

Excellent Beer, Beautiful women. A little pricey and a little loud. Food was ok but portions are like sampling appetizers at a sundowner somewhere, especially for the price. But really, I didn't care, my real estate agent paid for the whole thing after he sold my house!

I was born and raised in Central Oregon. But I used to go up to Portland a lot (first with my parents when I was a child and then later as an adult) to visit friends. We ate at Der Rheinlander. The food was out of this world. I always looked forward to it. I was beyond sad when it sold in 2016 and closed not long after that. Then I started going to a couple other German restaurants up there. But they were just not the same. Some were even horrible. I thought that was the end of going out for good German food. Then I stumbled across Prost! RIGHT IN MY OWN BACKYARD! I said to myself "If they serve Jägerschnitzel. I am all over it. I know what good Jägerschnitzel tastes like" Its always been my go too. OMG! It was sooooooooooo good that I literally sat there and looked at the last bite for several minutes before I finally ate it. I did not want it to be over with. I felt like I was back at Der Rheinlander all over again. And actual I hate to admit it, I never thought I was ever hear myself saying this, but this was BETTER than Der Rheinlander.I brought my cousin with me. She had never had German food before and she also has a small appetite. But I know what her tastes in food are. I pointed out a couple suggestions for her on the menu. She chose Kohlrouladen and a Bretzel. And we each had Paulaner Oktoberfest beer. She has not stopped talking about how good everything was. As a matter of fact the first words out of her mouth when I saw her this morning was "I can't stop thinking about that FOOD last night!" To which I replied "That makes TWO of us!"We will be back...over and over and over! Keep up the good work Prost!

Terrific selection of German beers on tap and in bottles. We had the pretzel which is good and chewy, though a little small. Comes with spicy mustard, schmaltz and beer cheese for dipping. Loved the schnitzel which was tender and full of good pork flavor served with nice braised red cabbage and spaetzle. Friendly staff and bright clean space. Our only challenge is the bench seating (I know ìt's typical for a beer hall) hubby has a bad back so he can't sit for long stretches. Nice addition to the food & beer offerings of Bend.
