The service and food was amazing. We were greeted immediately upon walking in and quickly seated by the friendly hostess. I was surprised how quickly they brought out our food and drinks on a busy Friday evening. The food was also superb. The mediterranean panini was paired well with the delicious sweet olives. Overall I really enjoyed the experience and I will definitely be back. I would recommend this place to anyone.

My lady and I went there, greeted by the hostess, we sat on the couch, no menus no water, a bit later asked to move to a table, still no service no explanation why asked to move, absolutely no hospitality or customer service whatsoever, felt completely disrespected, we are both in the business and that's not how you work in Bend!! We came to flight and exact opposite, very nice super awesome, NWX is still in Bend!! You should work on that a lot!! I can't give zero stars but I definitely would, so disrespectful

Walking in the atmosphere was fun and inviting. Low lit and welcoming with couches and tables scattered about. Service was adequate but generally lacked cadence and consistently left with empty glasses. There was also a general lack of wine knowledge and no bottle list available. Food was good, but was clearly from Costco with no attention to detail or flair. Wine selection was small and had no real variety for flavor. Overall the selection of food and wine pairings were amateurish with the oldest bottles of red wine being from 2018 to go with Costco appetizers. Location is very desirable. Parking was available both on and off street. Prices didn't match quality. Hopefully they can improve with better products and increased sophistication.

Great cozy place to enjoy a large selection of wines and some tasty meal options. The happy hour appetizers are a great deal. No whiskey as of Jan 2022, but they said they were working on it. But plenty of wine and beer options. Traditional seating along with more intimate couches and chairs.

Stopped in for a glass of wine (or two) and some bruschetta..Julia was fantastic, and recommended wines we really enjoyed.Such a fun place, good food and wines.

Bruschetta plate was awesome. Goat cheese and fig is a must have. Got double charged for glasses of wine but didn't see it until later though.

Lovely time here! Relaxing, food is great, knowledgeable wait staff.

One of my favorite places in town to go for a great selection of wines from all around the globe and an excellent food menu. Affordable prices and great service!

Portello always has a well-curated wine list with well-priced regional and international selections. Chosen by the sommelier-owner, their wines are not the common, repetitive labels served at most restaurants. The staff is welcoming, knowledgable and professional. The menu has a range of food including paninis, salads, and sharing plates.

Great service, food and drinks. Well done!
