Palate is one of the best coffee shops in Bend. Very unpretentious and down to earth. It’s the kind of place that knows your name when you walk in and you recognize your neighbors in line. Erin and Morgan are two of the amazing baristas but owners Jodie and Jason have curated an entire staff that always goes above and beyond. Thank you Palate for keeping the local spirit of Bend intact. Good coffee, good people, good vibe.
I went in today to order coffee and couldn't find my CC in my wallet. The barista told me that they would totally spot me instead of turning me away. I ended up finding my card in my coat and was able to pay but was super impressed with this business's choice to handle it in the way that they did. I did not feel embarrassed and felt that they would have treated anyone in that way. This illustrates both trust in employees and compassion for customers. :) Will definitely be back and thank you!!
