I used to like this place but it has obviously gone downhill. Pulled into the parking lot and trash from the dumpster was overflowing into the lot. Dismissed it and picked up my food. Opened the bag as soon as I got to my car to make sure everything was there and a bug immediately flew out of the bag. Guess I was hungry because for some reason I didn’t give up. The “fillet mignon” was just chips of low-grade frozen beef. And then there was the hair in the rice. $40 later and I wish I had gone to Panda Express.
Called to confirm they were still opened and seating, was told yes. Showed up for birthday dinner for seven and was told the grill was closed. The hostess was less than interested in our party of 7 after acknowledging that she had just told us they would seat us. Birthday hibachi dinner isn’t the same as you sit at a table on the other side of the restaurant while everyone else enjoys the show at the grill. Disappointed.
This is such a special place that we plan to celebrate our 50th Anniversary there. The food is awesome; the service is delightful; the atmosphere is wonderful; the fun is just waiting to happen.
What a great experience, the lobster rolls are so delicious. This was a family night, make sure to reserve a seat at a hibachi where you will get a fun show with a talented chef. My 5 year old especially loved dancing to the beat of the steel spachulas and getting baby saki (nonalcoholic) squirted in to his mouth with the baby bottle. Good strong cocktails and fun company. Everyone at the stove gets involved, so nice meeting new people. Strongly recommend the sushi menu, and the seaweed salad. Can beat little pricy but so worth it seeing the fun my family had that night.
The food is good, the service is excellent and it's an all around enjoyable dining experience! Try the lobster if you get the chance.
Food is good and have always been a loyal customer but the way I was treated tonight is unacceptable and not ok ! The Asian host in front was extremely rude and disrespectful! I’ve order food to go before and never had a problem. Called in a order 25 mins and my food was still not done just wanted to see how much longer it will be and I guess it was wrong for me to ask sense the host talked to me short gave me attitude. The whole time I was there she was rude And when my food finally came she told the guy bring the food to “ take care of her “ with hand jesters and walked away . Sadly to say I will not be returning ✌️
Food was excellent, the chef was wonderful, and the waiter was friendly and very attentive.I was surprised by how amazingly well-organized everything was. Despite the place being busy they still move super efficiently.
Wonderful service and food, steak and Shrimp was superb! Amazing portion sizes, so much food and all worth it!! MinMin had wonderful service aswell as the manager Shirley and the Host Hudson. Everyone did such a wonderful job with efficienc, safety, and customer satisfaction. This restaurant deserves 5 stars regardless of any review, the people who work here are family.
This place literally is the worst service in all of Bend. Came the day after Christmas with 6:45pm reservations. Our server came to take our dinner order at 7:30pm. Was serious unreal. The entire restaurant was full with barely any servers and zero hibachi chefs. Really bizarre. Lots of long faces. We straight up left the restaurant after getting cold miso soups after waiting for an hour and cancelled dinner. Avoid this place at all costs. Super junk
The sushi was excellent. The hibachi food was over cooked,especially our shrimp and lobster. The hibachi food had very little flavor. Our server was not attentive. She overcharged both of our meals. That was rectified. We didn't receive our charge slip to sign nor our copy to take home. We were told by our server to just sign our guest check. That bothered us The hostess rectified that. The hostess was very professional and pleasant. We will not go back for the hibachi but for the sushi, that was the best we ever had anywhere. We will definitely be back strictly for that.
