I'm from Tampa and this is the 2nd best Cuban I've had in bend in 10 years
I'm pretty sure this is the best food truck in town, the art of snacking is strong with them... just sayin. My choice- Big Cheese Sandwich (add their homemade pickles, apples and brisket) or the Cubano, omg. Pennsyltucky cooks rock it! (Closed Sunday-Monday, sigh...)
I had the Cubano and it was to die for. They were even able to accommodate my gluten intolerance. Great food, cool space!
Food has a great idea but the execution was lacking...maybe I caught them on a bad day (service and speed above average) July 23
They slightly over toasted my Cubano and apparently wasn’t up to their standards. When I picked up my food, they gave me the toasty sandwich and said they had another one cooking for me free of charge. I said it was fine, but they wanted to make it right. They will go the extra mile.
Full disclosure, Kevin, the owner and chef, grew up close to us in Pa. We stopped by the other day and had some beer at Bevel and food from Nosh. His poutine fries are on point, the cubano is as good as I have had and the sliders were perfection on a bun. We also had the pickled veggies. He has learned how to pickle very well. If you are in Bend, well worth the stop
Poutine with mushroom gravy was delicious and everything about it was just right -- perfect fries, cheese curds and gravy. Large was huge so had leftovers that were just as tasty reheated in the microwave the next day. Perfect for apres-ski. Craved it so much had to visit again a couple of days later before leaving town and ordered a small which was the perfect size.
Awesome and kind people here. Creative takes on BBQ, great vegetarian options such as mushroom gravy on poutine, and housemade pickled vegetables. Great food is coming out of this truck.
This place is incredible! The fries are some of the best I’ve ever had, and the service was wonderfully friendly and gracious. I will definitely be back.
