Great Place! I love the atmosphere! Plus Sundays Free Pool. How can you beat that?

Great little tavern to drink and hang out.

Most awkward and unfriendly bar staff we've everencountered. We are 26 and 35 and she treated us likekids even after she carded us. Asked, "uhhhh you knowthis is a bar right?" as soon as we walked in. Meanwhileshe looks like a 12 yr old on meth. We were hoping tofind some domestics on tap in a sea of IPAs and craftbeer snobs, a hidden treasure type bar, but this must bea locals only place. Wouldn't recommend.

Friendly staff and lots of tequila to choose from. I suggest the sour beer on tap. Have patience if you want to order foodBest bar in bend period.

Great dive ish bar. Friendly bartender and attentive. Plenty of space to grab a table. Parking in the back or on the street...bar food and limited options but all the classic deep fried bites. Awesome place overall and will be back!

Had a good time shooting pool. People were quite friendly to a stranger in town. It's a nice comfortable old fashioned local bar. Nothing fancy, just a good place to chill.

Great dive bar! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Over 250 tequilas.

I love the open mic nights every Wednesday! They always treat me right here ?

Wildly unsafe. We swing by one night because it was the only bar open past 12 in the area, and at first it was great - the folks behind the counter were super nice in serving us. But the people who frequent the place are NASTY. One woman and her friend tried to start a fight with us over a billiards rule (which she definitely got wrong), and when she didn't get the reaction she wanted she just kept yelling insults and threatening to "f---- you up!!" outside. The bartenders were chummy with these two crazy folks, I guess, because they did nothing about it.There are tons of dive bars in Bend, maybe try JC's instead if you want a good experience.

This is the best darn dive bar in Bend (I’ve been to all of them, so just trust me on this, okay?!). Drinks are strong, prices are on par, and the bartenders are the people you’ve heard about in country songs. CJ freaking ROCKS! Mike is pretty rad, too! Thanks for being our neighborhood bar, M&J’s - we will keep coming here til we die (or ‘til we have kids, whichever comes first).
