D freaking Licious!!!Great food, they're open late, authentic Mexican flavor. Highly recommend the carnitas taco combo. Clean place and a delicious looking salsa bar. If you have the late night munchies or you want to go in for some authentic Mexican grub don't pass this place up..
I had a wonderful experience with the staff. Very nice. Order was quick. I would say the food was OK. I got the fish tacos and personally the fish is too delicate for the amount of flour they put on it. Also there was a piece of mystery meat in my fish taco. So that was strange.Aside from that though, I love a Mexican restaurant that has chips and spicy carrots for while you’re waiting. Their salsa was delicious!
My mom and I went for first time tonight. She's been struggling to maintain her weight and find food that tastes good to her. Well the struggle is over. She got a taco platter and all she could say is "this all tastes so good!" over and over. I concur. The food was fresh, the lettuce green and crisp, tomatoes red and juicy, a variety of free condiments and veggies to dress up your plate...whats not to like? l had the fish tacos which had a healthy chunk of lightly battered swimmer and generous amount of Baja sauce. As their motto states, "if it doesn't have sauce, it's not a taco." Food appears to all homemade/prepped and cooked to order. Dining area and kitchen sparkling clean. Very polite and helpful staff. Huge variety of dishes that I can't wait to sample. It may be my new favorite place. I'll go a few more times to be sure ;-)))
Best thing on menu are the crispy rolled Tacos followed by the mini Tacos. Saw a bad review for a burrito on here and my friend also agrees, don't go to a place with Tacos in its name and get a burrito. Am I right? Rolled Tacos are crispy, flaky, freshly rolled, meaty, juicy and lathered in fixing, restaurant level for sure and refreshing in a sea of cheap taquito fast food.
It was fairly good for the price. I had the 5 rolled tacos, they were pretty meaty with lots of lettuce, cheese, and gaucamole. I will try something different next time. My first time there.
The portions are a great size, the food was still a good quality about an hour to close. I love that they’re open late and operate a drive through. I gave 4 stars for now as I’ve only gone once.
Absolutely delicious!Ordered the California Burrito and it tastes fantastic. It's about a foot long and 3in diameter... Basically the size of a Subway footlong, lol, but way better!Honestly, the flavors remind me of a REALLY GOOD Philly cheese steak.I'm glad I went there.
I never thought I would say this. Used to be my favorite place. BUT. The last time I went there the food was overcooked and tasteless. This time I went in for something simple and they tried to sell me something else. I kept telling them I wanted a Flautas combo. They tried get me to buy a burrito. When I kept telling them no that I did NOT was a burrito, I wanted the Flautas combo they started playing dumb with me. Acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. I finally just gave up and walked out. Something I have never done before but realized there was no hope getting anyplace with them. Went to another Taco shop I had never eaten at before. They beat Lucy's all to pieces on taste. I will go there from now on.
I did not know what to expect, but was pleasently surprised by the staff who were eager to please, and the food. You see I went to a Mexican restaurant the night before and was very disappointed in their food, which was tasteless, and expensive. Lucy's was terrific!!!I ordered a chicken-cheese burrito with guacamole and no one was upset. But, the best part was that the food was great! It was just the right seasonings (I like the spice), hot, moist, everything you want in the meal! No surprises, no disappointments, just good food!
I would say this is a 2 star place. I'll start by saying that I do like Lucy's. Great margaritas. I have had good experiences. And I have had disappointing experiences. Mainly speaking about this meal I recently got. Before that I've had fine experiences. They are always very nice too.My go-to at any Mexican food restaurant is a burrito with chicken, beans, and rice. This time I asked for pico too.Photo below of what I actually got(taken after I opened it) I bit in and it was dry. There was chicken pieces (rock hard, not fresh at all) and loose rice and no beans or anything so it was so dry, not a single bean in there. I'm not a picky person but... One of the worst burritos ever.
