We had chosen Longboard Louies as our caterer for our wedding. We had this booked for several months before the date of the event. The days AND weeks leading up to the event, we called Longboard Louies to confirm several times. All the way up until the day before our wedding, we called to confirm that they would have our food ready. They had already told us that we would have to pick up the food on our wedding date because they could not deliver. That was fine. But we werent getting any sense of professionalism otherwise. On the DAY OF OUR WEDDING at 12:00pm, the owner of Longboard Louies texts my Mother-in-law asking if there were still making all the food for our wedding. As we were all busy setting up for the wedding, she didnt respond right away. They gave her only ONE HOUR to respond before completely cancelling our order. When we got in touch with them to confirm pickup time for the food, they told us they didnt make ANY OF IT because they didnt hear from us. I have NEVER in my life been so upset at a local business. The complete lack of professionalism and organization is appaling. If they didnt want to complete our order, they should have told us MONTHS AGO. Instead, I had no catering or food on my wedding day and my father in law missed half of our wedding to pickup food from Costco and make it himself. I will never support them again and I will make sure every person I know never does.
Upcharges for non dairy options and do not offer substitutions.I had called and tried to address my card being recharged calmly and was responded with very poor and uncaring response from the manager and she hung up on me. It was very clear she was fed up and did not want to have a conversation with any customer and had acted so when I went to pick up my food and witnessed her with other customers.I tried to explain that in the past I have ordered additional items alongside a substition and have no been upcharged on the past and have recieved all of my items and she responded with "what do you want with me" and after asking why I was not contacted especially after learning she has personally done this to my card multiple times despite being through a third party service (which violates the terms) she continued with the rude "what do you want" and when i asked for her not to respond in a way that shows she's clearly fed up with me and not interested she hung up.My only concern was being overdrawn without my consent or being contacted and she did not care and had a very negative and sass driven atritude. I had just paid hundreds to have my baby boy cremated and was concerned about being put in even further debt and this was the response i was given when I tried to ask in a reasonable way. I know how hard it is working in the food industry, but this interaction was bizarre and gross to experience.
Best breakfast burritos I've ever had! My family and I are here frequently! Plus, the staff is awesome and food is ready quick! Highly recommend Lomgboard Louies
Very rude customer service. Had an order to go and my door dash delivery driver was treated very poorly. . . Refused ri our order together. When I called in they would not address issue. I'm not going to put you with poor customer service I suggest you not to eat hear foods not that great and my delivery driver was a veteran that's not right to treat our service membersEr
Sooooooooo good!the food is amazing everytime, back up with great customer service. I call my order in everytime, great service on the phone. When I get there, I pay the hostess, and minutes later my order is ready. Beautiful people and great customers service! thank you so much! Cobo nachos is soo good with steak added.... boom! Best lunch ever!
There are two of these in town, this one is contemporary on the NE side, the original on the west side looks like it may have been a house at one point, the food is consistently good at each.
Awesome service and great attitude
I ordered food to go today and was very disappointed. I ordered a ‘special quesadilla’ and the #3 burrito combo. The quesadilla was terrible; stale, hardly any chicken at all and bland. The combo was stale, tasteless sparse. This place used to be so good. With all the other options in this town I won’t be back

As a longtime fan and regular customer of Longboard, I was very disappointed earlier today to come in and receive subpar customer service from a young lady taking orders. A short while later, when some people who entered after me had forgotten their masks, she was incredibly short with and rude to them. This change makes me sad to see a local company that once deserved raving 5 star reviews become what I just experienced.Additionally, I’m sad that last month certain menu items increased price by over 20 percent and their lime salsa is no longer offered. I love Longboard Louie’s, and hope they do better in the future.
