We first went to this fun, lively neighborhood eatery many years ago and it makes us happy to report that it is even better than we remember. The dishes focus on local fair well prepared and we loved every bite! It is a Bend icon and its reputation is well earned. If you don’t go here you will miss an important Bend experience.
Pizza, sandwiches, and cold brew were amazing
Been a big fan for a long time. Ordered the amazing honey pie pizza (or two) every week all the way through the pandemic. I know balancing price with rising costs in a town like Bend is a huge issue but the price point on the pizza going to $28 seems pretty crazy and will definitely slow down our frequency of purchases. $56 for a couple before drinks is getting to ‘fine dining with full service’ realm. I hope they succeed either way, the food is great.
Came here for both dinner and breakfast. Staff is excellent, despite being very popular they recalled our prior visit. The food is excellent - the best ingredients. The pizza was great (they use the best flour), breakfast of huevos rancheros is perfect.Skip the hassle of downtown, eat here.
When visiting bend we decided to stop here for breakfast on our last day because it was highly recommended. I will say the environment is nice, staff is super friendly and I’m a fan of the large dining tables and open visible kitchen concept. My wife and I got the huevos rancheros, a breakfast cocktail, two coffees and a mixed fruit scone. The mixed fruit scone was good but I found it to be a little heavy with ginger. The coffee and cocktails were great. As far as the huevos rancheros I was not a fan. My wife enjoyed them but I was honestly disappointed. Could barely taste the chorizo, even tho the black beans were cooked perfectly there were way to many of them. The thing that really set me off was the over powering vinegar taste in the salsa verde. If you even got a little bit of it in your bite, it completely over powered the dish. All I could taste was vinegar and beans. I was not able to finish this because of that. Maybe I got a bad batch idk. The other couple we were with got the breakfast sampler and a cinnamon roll and they said it was amazing. With that being said if your looking for something different with bold flavors I would recommend checking this place out.
Some of the best food in Bend, this is a staple to visit when you're in town. Have excellent breakfast and lunch and a super casual atmosphere. Definitely stop at Jackson's when in Bend!
A reliable and great Bend staple no matter if you come for breakfast or dinner. Highly recommend the Honey Pie pizza, it is the best. Also their maple cardamom latte in the winter is just devine. The last time I was in we tried the new Meatball pie.. the flavors of everything were very good but it was one of the greasiest pizzas ive ver had.
Never disappoints. I come here every time I’m in Bend at least 2-3 times. It’s always fresh and delicious.
Very nice, excellent staff, menu has unique choices not found at chain restaurants. The food is good and prepared after you order it, so it's fresh and hot. We had an excellent breakfast there while on vacation in Oregon.
