1st time in Bend, 1st time dining here and it will definitely not be the last! We had the fried chicken special, seasoned like we do it in the south!! My companion enjoyed the collards seasoned with pork and creamed corn.. I enjoyed the garlic mashed potatoes with mushroom brown gravy and creamed corn. Nice portion size . Chef Dave you did that!! Huckleberry lemonade was the perfect adult beverage and lastly I almost forgot the deviled eggs were very very tasty! We will be back sooner than later, our waitress was very attentive and had fabulous suggestions.. Your mouth will thank you for dining here..
Had a frustraiting day yesturday and decided to take the kids out for dinner to family friendly place. We enjoyed eating outside at J Dub during the summer so decided to enjoy the inside dining last night.Dinner here made my day and evening. It was so refreshing to see the smiles and friendly faces of the waitresses, bartenders and cooks. Food is always really good, great beers on tap and a full bar. Kids can draw and color on the white paper table coverings.It was the welcoming environment though that made last night special. Had me leaving with a smile and thinking what a perfect evening.This will be our go to spot for awhile. Thank you J Dub for being guided by common sense, great service and food!

The food was GOOD. Loved the clam chowder. Staff was the best you could ask for. $3 kids meals. Definitely coming back.
PERFECT SPOT! Jordan (behind the bar and everywhere else) took great care of us and was extremely pleasant! We stopped in for lunch just on a whim and boy are we happy we did. J Dubs has an eclectic little bar area in the back that is both comfortable and homey and inviting. Our first time here but it felt like we were locals, it was that comfortable. My wife and I shared the Soft-Shell Crab basket (per suggestion from Jordan), and it was exceptional. We would have stayed longer but it was our first day in Bend and we had exploring to do in and around the downtown area. Thank you, Jordan, for making our visit to Bend just that much more memorable. We got our food as a carry-out order, so I can't speak to the in-restaurant experience. I ordered from Kelsey, who was friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, by phone. Our food was ready and waiting within the few minutes it took us to get there. The restaurant itself was clean and seemed like a welcoming environment. Two staff members greeted us promptly and offered to help right away. Kelsey brought us our food and gave us extra condiments when we asked. The food was excellent. We had a bacon cheeseburger and black bean veggie burger, fries, and sweet potato tots. The J DUB sauce and garlic mayo were great additions.
Love that J DUB has a dog friendly patio and pup menu. The service was prompt and friendly, and we got a couple of good recommendations from our server. Sweet potato tots are amazing! Also highly recommend the huckleberry lemonade (with or without vodka).
My sister and I had a great breakfast along with some great cocktails! I would have eaten here again the next day!
All the food we got was amazing! They are very dog friendly. Kids meals are cheap and come with lots to eat!!!!
