Food is great! Everything I touched was sticky. The staff all looked they're fresh off a camping trip. Take a shower before you come to work and clean the tables. Have a little pride in what you do for a living. YukAlso, $28 for a taco bowl and a beer?
Very good and super popular local spot. Super affordable. Counter service so no having to deal with a server. Good food, drinks and fun. I will say that I prefer the other location a bit more though.
When it is after nine [PM] and there is a line, probably worth the time to check it out...no drive up, which is great...in a nice little neighborhood village on an arterial road...perfect for street style tacos with chips and guac. I had 4 different style tacos, all great flavors and unique in their own right. It is marked on my map for a return visit when passing through.
Awesome spot w/ great vibes, solid tacos, and cheap beer. Very nice spot to sit outside and hang out with friends. Especially at night, the atmosphere/ambiance is great. They have a lot of different options for ordering and eve offer pretty good vegetarian options too - I had a vegetarian mushroom taco and it was good. 2 tacos and a beer for ~$10 … not bad at all.
The to go margarita is not worth it. It was barely one margarita, but labeled as two. I was disappointed. It had good flavor.The sancho bowl was fine, nothing special.

This quaint laid back eatery served me what were possibly the BEST tacos that I've ever eaten in my entire life! Very friendly and fast too! They had a line but it went quickly and I had my food in a very reasonable time. Delectable! I love on the coast and I may drive back to Bend for these tacos in the future!!!!
The food is really tasty. It might be Central American rather than Mexican (as in black beans and white rice). We are from California and consider ourselves Mexican food snobs. We were delighted and surprised, and now work El Sancho into every trip to Bend.
So delicious and for a fantastic price. The street tacos are amazing and the margaritas are delicious.
