Hands down best taco and chips with guacamole ever! I had the chipotle taco and the mushroom taco, delish! Staff was very friendly and fun!
I used to love this place but now they kept their pandemic red light green light system in the name of "keeping the lobby clear". It feels very in-human and it's like you are a cattle in line for the food trough. All of the staff are condescendingly "nice" and it's not the local taco shop that made them great! I came here for the vibes and now that there are a bunch of arbitrary rules it's not a fun place to go anymore. I'd recommend ontap for better vibes and still great food. Plus they don't have a bunch of kindergarten rules.
Came out here with some friends the other day and was really impressed with my experience. They have a wide variety on offer, and I ended up getting a selection of tacos. The oaxaca cheese and the lengua tacos were definitely my favorites. Food came out surprisingly quickly considering the size of our group and everything was fresh tasting and delicious. It's a fun little spot to hangout, and somewhere I'll have to try again the next time I'm in Bend.
Finally went. Picked up many uber/lyft rides here before covid came. But I am not sure what the hype is about this place?Kinda confusing when you walk in. I guess you order then find a seat. Menu is hard to follow. Wife got a house margarita (said was good, I see a cup full of ice) I just ordered a pallet jack beer because I couldn't find a beer menu and she said they had it. Beer and margarita came in a Mason jar to the brim. Definitely not a fan of the Mason jar for beer. We both asked and ordered 3 of what she said were thier most popular tacos. They were miniscule. Not bad at all. But overall left us both wanting something more...more style, more veggies, more flavor, more awesomeness. The tacos came super fast, kinda expected being tacos, but too fast service leaves you wondering about how long its been sitting in a crock pot heated all day? Maybe not a big deal.Overall it wasn't bad, but what's the hype about? It was just ok.

The tacos are all amazing! Carnitas and Barbacoa were especially good, as well as the pork belly taco which was a special. Pineapple Serano Marg is also highly recommended. This place does it well!
We used El Sancho to cater our wedding in October 2021. They were absolutely fantastic!! Food was DELICIOUS, they set up and cleaned up in a timely matter. And as a bonus they were so personable and fun, I still have guests from my wedding telling me about how cool the guys from El Sancho were. Highly recommend them for catering or eating at any of their establishments!
Food was decent. Coffee was cold and you have to pay for salsa! You have to order when you walk in,the girl in the back didn't look friendly at all. They give black beans and white rice instead of traditional rice and beans. Not much of a variety of drinks either. Tacos were good but not the best. You also have to pay first before you sit down.
The high ratings don’t make any sense.My girlfriend and I went here as we were looking for some decent Mexican food.Not gonna lie, but the only good thing about this place is the guy up front who was super knowledgeable about everything on the menu.First off, you go here and don’t get to sit down to order your food. You gotta order it when you walk in and then they deliver it to a table they assign you. The drinks are pretty basic and I mean very basic with lots of ice, even their horchata doesn’t taste authentic.To summarize, you should just go elsewhere for Mexican food. Period.
Best taco shop in all the land. These beautiful god crafted delights will make your mouth water before they’ve even got to the table. Big ups on the ability to order online as well and if you’re feeling spicy the mango margarita’s are a perfect pair to the barbacoa tacos. Thank you Sancho’s for being a staple in the Bend community.
