Don’t believe their ratings!!! They are way overrated and far less than they pay for positive reviews. Please speak up honestly people! We had a Vegetarian order of two cheese and onion enchiladas, no beans for side just rice. Order came in with rice and beans and the enchiladas were loaded with greasy chicken. We called and asked for a replacement and they told us to go through the delivery company. Which we tried to do but the refund was only 1/4th the cost of the meal. I called back and escalated the issue since it was clearly the restaurant’s fault, yet they wouldn’t lift a finger to help the situation they created. I feel their policy needs and update or their customer service needs more training and authorization to make things right. I will be referring others away from this place until they acknowledge their mistake and apologize properly.
This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Bend! Outstanding service, and amazingly tasty food. I got the wet burrito off the lunch special with pinto beans and rice. It comes standard with refried beans, but the pinto beans are no additional cost and make the dish that much better. The sauce was perfect and so was the rice. I have only been once, but I can't wait to go back. I highly recommend it.
My husband and I have been here more than 15 times. One of our favorite places until tonight. Every single time we sit in the bar area, order the same exact meals and same exact drinks. We always have the same male server each time and usually always sit in the same booth. It’s almost an identical experience each time. Tonight we came in sat in our booth and was served like normal. We noticed our regular server was taking a little longer to come to us, no problem as we enjoy our time here. I ordered my 2nd drink like usual and it came chunky not blended well like the first. No problem, we finished and got our check. Paid and tipped LIKE USUAL. We leave and when walking out our server chases us down, opens his wallet and gives the tip back saying “ you must need it more than me “ ???? We were so confused. Why would he try and return a tip? He was rude and insisted we take the money back. Why would an employee chase down a customer to return a tip and say you need it more? How dare you say that to someone? We definitely did not need the tip back. You never know what someone is going through, what if he said that to a person that couldn’t afford to tip but still did. How can you judge or be picky on a tip? It felt so wrong and was so rude of him to literally chase us down the street. Remember no one is obligated to tip. He should absolutely be fired!!! So rude and inconsiderate of HUMANS IN GENERAL
We ordered from this restaurant through DoorDash. We are vegetarians and ordered cheese and onion enchiladas with all rice for the side. When the order arrived we received greasy chicken enchiladas with rice and beans on the side. My husband called the restaurant and explained to the manager on duty that we received an incorrect order. The management refused to fix our order and said DoorDash would have to correct the mistake even though their staff made it incorrectly. My husband explained that DoorDash had only offered us a $4 credit on a $64 order still the management refused to fix anything! Very poor customer service. Disappointed
We came with a fairly large party. At the end they said there were two plates not paid for. They said it was for 2 kids. The parents ordered for kids so it didn't make sense that there would be 2 unaccounted plates. It was almost 40$, and said it had to be paid. This is a group of honest parents that wouldn't skip out on paying for their kids. She was quite rude about it, and I think since she knew we were visiting from out of town that we wouldn't complain. The food was mediocre as well.
We have dined at El Rancho Grande many times as it is basically in our neighborhood. Until tonight, we have always raved about service and food. Unfortunately, tonight will probably be our last for quite some time.I will start with the good. The bussers in the bar area were excellent!!However, our server Uriel (according to our receipt) was rude and unattentive. He forgot what our order was and had to come back and ask again. I had to flag him down to get the rest of our meal, which he tossed on the table and walked off. He never followed up with us after we received our food to see if we needed anything. He didn't follow up to see if we wanted more drinks, dessert, etc.Our food was mediocre at best. Our plates were hot but the food was only warm. The tortilla portion of our chimichangas was doughy and chewy as if it was undercooked, not crispy like they should have been if they had been deep fried. If it hadn't been for the buss staff, we wouldn't have had refills of water or a timely way to pay for our meal.
By far our favorite mexican “family style” restaurant in Bend. They have a huge menu with a really great seafood selection as well. Their chips and salsa are delicious, meals are always great, and so are the margarita options. Staff is always very friendly and attentive. Plus the bar is always playing games and they even stream fights too.

Extremely rude hosting staff and the managers couldn't care less. The kitchen is painfully slow! Expect to spend the whole night there! Food is tasteless Tex Mex at best. Go to Don Gabinos!!! Skip this place!!!
We'd been thinking about going here for years and we were so glad that we did. The service was some of the best we have ever had. We were seated quickly, a server was with us immediately, our drinks were never more than half empty and our food came out in less than 5 minutes. Everything was delicious and everyone we interacted with was extremely friendly and professional.
