If I could give them 10 stars I would. Dont get me wrong, its busy, but so worth it. I ordered plate 10 which is Enchilada, Beef taco and a bean tostada. Omg AMAZING!! My husband got a Chicken Taco Salad, soo good! We got plate 13 for my son to go, it was 2 huge burritos with beans, rice and chips!! He loved it. We will definitely be back before we head back to California. This restaurant is so authentic. Alex was our waiter and was wonderful. All the staff was so nice. Cant say enough about this place. I also want to add that the 1st plate they brought me was the wrong order and i told them i would still keep it....they brought my original order and insisted i keep the other dinner as well.... they were so nice about it.
Salsa for chips is way too hot for my Hispanic, spice loving palate. We did Eat outside, server left our table three times while our adult daughter was still speaking!Chile relleno is greasy with big fatty "shell" and the chile is tough and falling apart inside. Food would get 2 stars, entirely uninspired. Service, though rude, was timely. My family will never return.Chips are unsalted and appear to have come from a bag. Guacamole is unseasoned ... could be a positive for low sodium diners.Thought we'd try the house margarita on he rocks, Extremely sweet.
I've loved this place FOREVER!! but not now when the employees want to argue with me about the food THEY DID NOT PUT IN THE BAG!! I drove over an hour home to open the bags to find out my chicken fajitas ARE NOT THERE!! Just tortillas, beans n rice!!! Guess I'll just spend my money else where!!!! Why would yall argue with me and put my on hold for over ten minutes to argue with me!! WHY NOT JUST ACCEPT THE MISTAKE AND CREDIT ME OR SOMETHING!!! NOT COOL AT ALL!!!!
It took 10+ minutes for our server to come over and take our drink order. We sat in the bar and it was packed so I get the wait. I had the seafood taco salad which was good but didn't have crab in it as the menu stated it would. I think they should either fix the menu or have the server let you know. It seemed very warm in the bar probably due to so many people.
Had an early dinner here on a Friday in May. We were seated right away, our waiter was friendly and professional, and everything was clean. Free chips and salsa, the salsa was excellent. I had the macho burrito which was very good and my wife had the super nachos with added beef. The ingredients seemed fresh and the portions were a good size. They had cold XX on draft which is always nice. Our only niggle was the price of the beer, a 22oz was $7.75 and nowhere on the drink menu indicated the price. Basically we chose this restaurant because it was in the parking lot of our hotel but that being said we would return and recommend.
We weren't seated with a drink menu, and when we asked for one, I was disappointed to see there were no prices. I don't mind buying a few shots of tequila, if I know what I'm paying. Ordered a few shots anyway, but our server never brought them, and because her service was so... lacking attentiveness, I didn't even bother to remind her. Also, another server delivered our food so fast, shortly after we ordered, that I didn't feel like making a big deal about the shots.Food might've come out quick but it was mediocre. So much chopped lettuce on everything to make it look big! Fajita meat was over marinated and over cooked.I never write negative reviews but I really found this meal disappointing. Maybe we ordered the wrong things. The sopitos were not at all what I was expecting, (going off my love for papusas and empanadas) as they were listed online as "highly recommended"; however, it was like a big waffle with meat and lettuce on top.I wouldn't normally comment on ambience, but when the food is not very good, it adds to the detraction. So it was way too bright with bad music. They close at 8 and they certainly weren't encouraging anyone who walked in at 7pm to get comfortable.Honestly, the chips and salsa were top notch. The shredded chicken meat was moist and fork tender. The rice was excellent. I liked that the items we ordered came with sour cream and guacamole for no extra charge. The beer was cold. However, the next time I'm back in Bend, I won't be back. I'm sure there's somewhere better in town!
I ordered fajitas for 2 to go...more like a single serving for $37.50! 4 tortillas and a tiny bag of chips. Not worth the money
We moved here from Colorado and we like our food spicy. This was really bland. The parking lot was hard to back out of the space for handicap parking.
Excellent, fresh Mexican cuisine with friendly service and a great atmosphere
Good Mexican food. Friendly staff. Chips and salsa at the table is normal but they also include a cabbage slaw. Menu was typical of what you would expect at a sit-down Mexican restaurant. Pricing was about average.
