We have always had great service and food at Double Happiness. While their prices have gone up, they have a huge menu selection. We ordered the combination chicken, shrimp, and veggie dish and split it for a late lunch. It was plenty of delicious food, and the service was friendly and prompt. We miss living in Bend, but go there when we can. Thank you for being there as so many places have changed hands recently.
Avoid this restaurant! I called in an order and got cut off from the man taking the order before I got the total. My husband nearly had a heart attack when he walked into pick up! 51$I only ordered 2 entries and a side of pot stickers. I jokingly told my husband it would be the best Chinese he’s ever eaten and he’s be double happy. Unfortunately it was double bad and double the cost of most. Pot stickers tasted freezer burned and old, breaded chicken tasted pre made and old. Rice was dry and hard, and veggie fry dish was swimming and in oil.We will never waste 51$ on this place again. We didn’t even eat leftovers. Yuck
Always a solid choice for take-out. Their Beef Chow Fun is the best in town!
Food was excellent, although the service was somewhat lacking. We were the only table, still waited an inordinately long time for service, while the person running the FOH visited (at length) with the few who came in for pick-up orders... Just felt disjointed and strange, almost as if there was no desire to ensure we had a good dining experience.
Our absolute favorite Chinese food in Central Oregon. Everything we've eaten there is amazing.
I ordered mothers chicken and house Fried rice. I had hoped I found a new Chinese restaurant since red dragon closed. This was not it.
Avoid this overpriced trap. Called to make an order and was rushed off the phone, couldn't make the entire order. I think I got lucky with that. Ordered a main chicken dish, soup and egg rolls. My total was $40!! Soup was full of sugar and not good, only got 3 egg rolls for 11$ The main chicken dish was good but definitely none of it is worth a second visit. Service to pick it up was not very friendly, very rushed and made me feel unwelcome. I do not recommend this place.

Order here at least once a week for pick up as their soup is my absolute favorite! Ordered take out tonight and my combo meal didnt come with the sweet and sour sauce but they re delivered for no charge and gave us an entire meal of sweet and sour pork and rice at no charge. Made my kids VERY happy. Definitely my favorite here in bend! Thank you for your kindness!
