I always love it here. Dive bar but with food that rivals high end restaurants in town. Yum! The bloody Mary is super good too.
Service was 10/10 and food was great! The atmosphere is unique, there's video lottery, and the location is perfect to lots of other amenities. We will definitely be back!
Let me start off by saying bartenders are very aware of customers and how much they've had to drink. Bartender kicked a guy out that was obvious way to drunk, sleeping at the bar, and making people feel uncomfotable. He had a friend with him so im sure he made it home safe. They were always on it when i ordered drinks. Very nice staff, i was a little disappointed in wings. A few were dry, the others were super chewy. Ill be back for drinks, but probably wont try the food again.
Total Dive bar. You will likely get a cigarette flavored meal and there's always a good chance of dysentery not to be confused with too many drinks out on the town. Definitely a locals last call spot. The bathrooms are disgusting. I've lived in Bend for over 20 years, this has always been one of my least favorite spots. Some people love it though so to each thier own.
My favorite thing about D&D is they have great breakfast great burgers just down home food an awesome Reuben sandwich fresh french fries great bloody Marys I hear! But they do make good drinks. I would recommend for a good lunch or breakfast for sure one of my favorite in town not the most classy joint that's for darn sure but hey the food and the good service makes up for it an old dive but always great and plentiful!
Food is just okay. Had to send both drinks back. Not made correctly. Two females eating dinner together and they treated us like we don't know how to tip. Fries were cold on my meal, friends were hot. Definitely paid more attention to male patrons. And FYI, we always tip better than 20 percent unless service really sucks. Both former waitresses. Left 13 percent tip. To bad!!
One of the VERY FEW dive bars worth going to in bend. They have simple tasty food (the breakfast skillet is my go to) the pours are very heavy and the prices are probably the cheapest in town. Tons of seating, video poker, and a back porch patio

Good was food but service not so much.
We love to take out of town guests here because it's such an unassuming, casual place and it's open early. They have great ambience with their vintage posters and there's lots to look at. If you feel like playing video poker or having a drink at 6:30am, you can do that too! They have my favorite breakfast combination, which is Fred's Breakfast - french toast, bacon, and one egg. But you really shouldn't miss the biscuits and gravy, which are made fresh in house and are the best in town. The biscuit is super fluffy and the gravy has tiny sausage bits and is nicely peppered. They have every other breakfast thing you can think of - corned beef hash, skillets, omelettes, pancakes and french toast. Simple, straightforward, and satisfying.
