This restaurant is on a beautiful part of the Deschutes River. Outdoor seating is right on the water. I've eaten here a few times, and I got the same feel this time... The food is decent NW fare, but nothing exciting or inventive. Same with the service -- decent, but nothing outstanding.

Was very excited to try this restaurant but was mildly dissapppointed. For a higher price we thought the quality of food would be better. My husband got the halibut and I got the salmon but the flavors were pretty bland and fish wasn't fully cooked in the middle. On the other hand I am allergic to gluten and they had a lot of gluten free options which was a nice surprise.

We went for Valentines day. Tried to seat us at a tiny table and there isn't a river view. My husband ordered the special which was a steak and crab leg combo. The steak was good but he only got about a teaspoon of meat from the crab. When we received the bill we found out we were charged 80.00 for this "special"On the menu just a ribeye steak dinner 14 Oz was 55.00 so that teaspoon of crab cost 25.00 ridiculous! Win't be going back.

Crab and butter was cold. I asked for medium rare on filet and it came well done

Consider this place if all other breakfast spots are busy! You don't need to be a hotel guest to eat here. The food and service are great - currently sitting here enjoying breakfast with the wife. This is our second time stopping here for breakfast and it continues to be very yummy, clean, and the people working here are nice.

Great service, even better food and of course the view by the Deschutes River is amazing. Dining room inside is warm, clean and invitingly comfortable. Bar seems well stocked, and they have some interesting mixed drinks. Lots of local producers incorporated in both drinks and food, and everything came to the table in a timely manner with good on plate presentation. Staying at River House made Currents an obvious choice to try, and it was a rewarding experience, will definitely return next time we are in Bend.

loved the food, cozy and friendly.

Food is really 3 star, chicken was ridiculously dry. Service and atmosphere was good. Although they were short staff, she was attentive. Sit outside if possible it beautiful and relaxing. The red drink was my favorite.. 1 the orange one tasted weird. The mule was ok, not bad but not great. The truffle fries were the bomb. light, small can taste the truffe.

My daughter and I wanted to get outside and enjoy a nice brunch and cocktail. Tried a few other places, and they were very crowded, and a few places had too many dogs. I know, everyone loves their dogs, but I don't want to share a patio with them while I am eating! So we stumbled upon CURRENTS and decided to give them a try. Great ambiance, sat right by the river, had delicious food and amazing cocktails!! Peaceful and perfect!! We will be back!!

These two gentlemen were the prototypical 'perfect male specimen '. Steve and Jeff go above and beyond. If I weren't already spoken for it'd be on, mmkay. Hello!
