Our 30th anniversary

Excellent food and we enjoyed sitting outside as the inside was bit noisy. I would go back again.

The cocktails were divine - highly recommend the Haterade and the Golden Ticket. Also the sticky wings are so juicy and savory. Can't wait to go back!

When we arrived for our reservation, the restaurant was closed. Be sure to check whether they are still open the day you reserve a table.

Unique cuisine, great service, downtown Bend location. We will be back

An hour wait for mediocre food, without a doubt the most unpleasant server. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else, seriously, anywhere. Impossible to express just how bad this experience was

The food was insanely good! Our server was amazing and the outside seating was so great!

Server had too many tables to serve so we waited 15 minutes to get water and an hour to be served a salad and a bowl of rice. Very loud atmosphere and the food was ok.

Server had a fit, when asked how much longer our food would be. We didn’t raise our voices, it was a simple, how much longer? Don’t know if someone else had been mean to her but, dang she came uncorked on us. Repeating ‘It’s not my fault’ which we said, ‘We know that, it was just a question’ she stormed off and when our food was done she slammed it on the table. Now everyone has a bad day, I get that but she was so unprofessional and went to others stating we were mean. What? She did remove our 2 drinks from the bill for our hour long wait for chicken yakisoba (dry and flavorless) and poke bowl (was good). Won’t return, ever

Tonight my husband and I took my parents out for dinner as a thank you for all their help recently. We chose chomp chomp because it’s a Japanese restaurant and their descriptions of the meals made it seem as if it was going to be very traditional and similar to the food in Japan. My family and I spent nine years living in northern Japan, so I was in particularly looking forward to trying the food. My husband got the burger and it was very good according to him. My mom got a traditional Hiroshima meal and said it was good, although lacking some of the traditional aspects. My dad and I both ordered the Katsu curry, as the description said this was a traditional meal that was eaten in several different locations however they also said at Mountain resorts, which is true. I spent my entire time there snowboarding during the winters and would eat Katsu curry each time I went up. The katsu curry that we got left me pining for the comfort of snowboarding in Japan. The curry itself was very liquidy and had almost 0 flavor to it. The vegetables were OK, although the Katsu curry I would get never came with vegetables that size, as they took over the curry. The breaded pork cutlet was pretty good. Mine was a little bit dryer, which I then had to dip into the curry to moisten it up. All in all, it was good food, but their descriptions of being authentic to the food or Japan do you need some updating. I do think I will try this place again and try the Ramen. I’m not quite ready to write this place off yet.
